Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo - "Wonderful Days" Deconstruction - Roland Korg Quasimidi Amen Break

In this video I'll show you how to recreate the song "Wonderful Days (Radio Edit)" by Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo in Logic Pro X. If you have any questions, I would be happy if you write them in the comments! Have fun watching and recreating! 🎶 🎹 🎛
00:00 Intro
01:06 Sample from Tony Ronald "Help (Get Me Some Help)"
02:00 Effects from Quasimidi Quasar
02:39 Choir from Korg 01/W
03:27 Bell from Quasimidi Quasar / Logic Pro X
04:29 Bassline from Roland JD-990
05:02 Snare Drum from Roland TR-909 / Dance Megadrums Sample CD
05:23 Bass Drum from Dance Megadrums Sample CD
05:44 HiHat from Dance Megadrums Sample CD
06:01 Strings from Roland JD-990
07:10 Sample from The Winstons "Amen, Brother" (Amen Break)
07:39 The complete song
Special thanks to Charly Lownoise, who gave me some information about the used instruments. (The strings must be from the JD-990, not the 01/W 😅) And of course to Accentbuster, who gave me the two Quasar effects! Thanks a lot! 👍
If you would like to support me, I would be grateful for any donation! 🙏

it may be possible to use phase inversion/cancelation to strip out the unwanted elements. E.G. (in Ableton Live) take 3 identical & un-warped copies of the same audio on separate channels, keep one as your 'normal', hard Pan the others Left & Right, and use a Unison effect on each to change the phase 180degrees. if you then resample the output into a 4th audio channel, you should be left with whatever is in the 'centre' of the mix - usually the vocal. you can then repeat this using the isolated vocal against a non panned original to strip the vocal out.

Can be done with a sine wave too with a pitch envelope. (I would retrig the oscillator every time to avoid uneven transient clicks and pops due to the oscillator start phase)
