The reason why the intense version has such a deep lip liner compared to the lipstick version is because its for deeper skin tones and i have noticed typically when it comes to any nude lip colours people with deeper skin tones would wear much deeper lip liner with a nude lipstick to prevent the lipstick from just looking like concealer lips or washing them out.

I just bought the medium shade and WOW, am I ever impressed with both the color and the formula! It glides on like a dream and feels weightless on the lips. It does not dry my lips out at all, and even though I work a job where I talk on the phone all day long, it still looks good after 4-5 hours! I'm a huge fan of Chanel lipsticks, but I think I might like this one even better! I'm heading to sephora this weekend to pick up the original shade too. I am a makeup collector and probably have 300 lipsticks, no lie, and this one is in my top 3 for sure!

I actually love the intense one that’s the one I want and I’m light skin tone ! Idk if I’ll use the liner with the lipstick but that lip liner would make a bomb espresso theme lip with a neutral lip gloss or matte

Im a neutral 15/20 and the grey in pillow talk original washes me out. I will definetly go for medium and intense lipsticks and only medium pencil.

I just bought it and I am in LOVE with the color and formula! It really is worth it!

Pillow Talk has been FOREVER on my wishlist and I’m finally getting it! I think it’s well worth it. I think all her products are. And I’m the type of person that doesn’t buy a whole lot of makeup, I much rather but less but more high quality. I also have a lipstick for so long because I need to finish it, I hate wasting product. 🙂 Anyways, this shade of lipstick (the original) looks so good, just like your natural lips but better! Medium and intense are both nice shades though but if you’re getting anything from this line get the original first. I think so anyway 😉 Thanks for the video! 😊

Pillow talk intense was meant for deeper skin tones. It’s not a trend, it’s not a 90s thing it’s just what works for our tone.

Im looking for good more affordable dupe for pillow talk medium lip liner, im close to your skin tone, its my perfect shade but i have to wear it almost daily for work and even do it for going out, so i run out pretty fast. I cannot find as perfect a shade in anything else 😩 i already tried soar, whirl, spice and half red in mac, but they dont have as good of staying power. Mac discontinued their long wear lip liners quiet a while ago too which is sad.

I wish I would've seen this before I bought the original! 😒 They all looked beautiful on you! The last liner was intense alright, but it looked great when blended! For a second it took me back to highschool. 😆

I'm glad i read your mind 🥳 Regarding wear time, I think it is above average, I mean it's not a permanent lipstick nor a matte formula (which sometime can help to last longer) but it's very comfortable and creamy, I personally love the "kissing formula" and I always like to bring my lipstick with me just in case. Ho la pelle veramente chiarissima. Sono 0N dior black stage E il mio colore è pillow talk medium. Perché ho le labbra pigmentate e risulta le mie labbra ma meglio. Hai fatto in bellissimo lavoro per mostrare i colori , grazie , la migliore abbia mai visto. Si la matita media con il rossetto intenso è perfetto. E penso che per il rossetto giusto oltre al colore più o meno chiaro della pelle , dipende anche la pigmentazione delle labbra.

Thank you for your interest. It's actually the last lip combo I tried on this video , which is Pillow Talk medium lip liner plus Pillow Talk Intense lipstick 😉 I hope you tried it!

I agree. The lipstick shades go from light to darker very beautifully, but the lipliner of the pillow talk deep is too dark. The original and medium one are basically the same color in liner and lipstick, but the deep one has a difference. No idea why they did that.

A couple of people shared with me that the pilow talk intense lip liner works perfectly on their dark skin , which is great news since it was created specifically for dark skin tones😃 I knew it was not going to work for me but I still wanted to tried it because I love to play with makeup. Fortunately, the PT intense lipstick works on me, and it’s a beautiful color🙌🏼 thanks again for your feedback 💛

Hi! I think so! The Pillow Talk original lipstick is going to be a nice everyday color but if you're looking for a bit more oomph then I would try the Pillow Talk medium lisptick. Also, having a different lipliner changes the look completely. For instance, I love to pair the Pillow talk Medium lip liner with the Original Pillow Talk lipstick😃. Hope this helps! 💛

#3 isn’t too dark.😀I liked 2 also. No 1 was ho hum, imo. I wear kind of a combo of 2 and 3 and I’m a very fair brunette.

Hello! so the PT original and the PT medium are the matte formula. And the PT intense is the only one with the "kissing formula" which is basically creamy and hydrating. The matte revolution formula though is very comfortable, one of my favorites in the the market as well. Hope this was helpful!

Pillow Talk Original lipstick is very warm colour. Quite different in person then in your video. It's a peachy/beige colour in real. It seems that camera combined with your warm complexion picked up and pointed out the pink mauve tone the most. I am a neutral undertone. NC25, a little cooler in winter and unfortunately the moment I put Pillow Talk Original Lipstick on my lips, that color highlights everything bad on my complexion. Even my hair and highlights look brassy. Women with a lighter cool complexion, and neutral / cool undertone in general, should avoid this lipstick colour. I learned on my own mistake. The pencil is a beautiful colour that fits all tones. I've been using it for a long time, but the lipstick is a huge disappointment to me. Very Victoria is pretty neutral nude shade. Love your video&appreciate your effort.

How curious!... I'm very olive just as a reference and when i wear Pillow talk original, it looks very neutral pink on me... I just swatched it on my arm and it still pulls pink (not a hint of beige or peach). I believe it's all about the undertones.... thank you for sharing, it's very interesting. I try my best when i do videos like this so your feedback means a lot💛

same here... I am lighter than her, and cooler in undertone, with much darker lips. Pillow talk original looks peachy beige on me, is lighter than my lips and washes me out. Huge disappointment, as i also got Very Victoria which is just a tad darker, but still lighter than my lips and quite brownish. Pillow talk original is also very much like Mac Velvet teddy, but not as vibrant, and I felt like it was a waste of money. Lighter skin tones should try Walk of no shame, different kind of lipstick, but really amazing. I also bought the pencil of Pillow talk medium and looks amazing on its own. I may try the medium lipstick too, i hope it will be mauvie and not brown

@@mavishares i think in some cases it works the opposite way - the darker the complexion, the lighter the lipstick... I kept on reading about Megan Markle wearing Very Victoria, and it looked so nice on her, but on me, with my much lighter complexion, it looks like my lips but paler...
