They are both very quick witted. Paul even jumps in with a save when Dave gets pushy!

Charlize didn't reveal the whole story about her mom shooting her dad in self-defense until some years later. Her parents had a somewhat turbulent marriage due mostly to the father's alcoholism. It's all just very sad. Charlize has a very close relationship with her mom although I'm not sure if the mom is still alive at this moment.

I can’t watch him anymore. New movie on Netflix with Margot Robby…I looked and it was a no…can’t.

This interview went off without a hitch. Charlize was unflappable which made Dave look brilliant. Charlize turned the focus on to Dave for quite some time which allowed her enough of a reprieve to continue an honest expression of her sensibilities.

I am either old, or we do not come by such beautiful actresses anymore

that face at that time, she literally could play a heavily angelic guardian in a sci fi flick and actual angels would be envious of that. She really is blessed with that gift of natural beauty.

I think what she meant was, she looked after her teeth and was proud of the results as am I of my own teeth for my age .

I have always liked her in movies, she is great of what I have read. She is always good on talk shows when finish not much had been learned about her, she can make a full talk show and leave everyone thinking she put it all out there.

One of the most natural banters you'll see on a Tonight Show. At one stage Charlize was interviewing him and she didn't wear a mini skirt to titillate the audience when she sat down like so many young female guests do.

She's adorable and super smart and such a fine actress.

She has such range, from drama to action to comedy. She was great in the spy thriller "Atomic Blonde"

Compared to Charlize, David looks absolutely refreshed.

Damn he didn’t research her at all before this interview. Asking her about her parents being married and saying of course she would want to marry. Her Mother actually shot her Dad bc he was abusive. I felt her awkwardness at these questions. Poor thing.

5 foot 10 is not petite imo, but seems like she has a good sense of humor. Most women that are that beautiful don't come across as having a sense of humor at least in my experiences.

It's stunning to see how at some point Charlize just intercepted the initiative and then they both just started talking like two good old friends in a bar. 10 munutes of pure entertainment. And the whole thing about Will Smith, she started to wind him up so intensiv, that it is absolutely clear - Will and Charlize came along very well. 😁

She is hands down my favorite African American!
