This music video was so incredible to watch because it doesn’t paint either of them as “the good guy” or “the bad guy.” It paints them as human. And I know that the song is just going to continue these real human emotions and be very relatable.

I so agree with your comment, when Charlie and Sabrina were happy and in love in one moment, it looked real and then in another moment they were screaming, arguing and yelling at each other and both of them were in tears was also very real, the emotions throughout this short film for me hit home!!! The acting of Charlie and Sabrina were 100/100!!

@@TheUniKGaming Charlie and her were both in love, they had great times. But didn't know what happened that made her flirted with someone else (it wasn't shown in the movie). Charlie gradually lost his feeling towards her because of that. He ignored her. He tried to save the relationship by going to couple theraphy with her, but it didn't work. Things got worse. They argued a lot. Charlie was upset with what she did, she was upset with what Charlie did. In her point of view, he couldn't have serious talk with her to talk calmly and together solved these problems. In the end, this relationship couldn't be saved. This short movie is a prequel to That's Not How This Works music video which later will be released 😊.

Charlie yelling was something I was NOT prepared for.. this was so good!! I never expected Charlie to be such a good actor. Props to Sabrina as well!! Amazing as always

I remember in 2019 when Charlie went on Wired and he said that he thinks that he's a horrible actor. I hope that he now realizes that he was wrong, because this short film is amazing. Both Charlie and Sabrina are great in this. All love to Charlie and I can't wait for the song to release.

Okay... as a long-time fan of Charlie Puth, I'm used to his immense musical talent, but I never ever expected him to be this good of an actor?! For years, he was being humble and said he can't act, though THIS masterpiece was made with the legendary Sabrina Carpenter! I am so impressed and I really think this is Charlie's BEST work. And the songs from that album connected a lot of us with our own past as well. This video really hit hard. Just wanna say thank you for being the best artist out there. I’ve watched this a million times, and I notice something new or add more meaning every time. the latest meaning to me is that the charlie playing the tapes is actually a metaphor for charlie’s brain involuntarily playing these memories over and over again and being frustrated with the way things ended, so he becomes upset with both the good and the not so good memories. and the acting was just phenomenal, the happy scenes felt so real and had a childlike innocence to them, only to be interrupted by yelling and anger, making it hurt that much more. and all of this gave us an honest little glimpse into charlie land, so thank u for putting urself out there you are so strong I love you so much
