Charlie, its unlikely you will read my comment in the sea of comments, but here's a song idea. Imagine you are in a dark room. No way to light it up. The only way to be under the light is leave the room. There is fresh sunshine on the other side of the wall. So close. You can feel it. But there's one problem. There is a door between the darkness and sunshine. And you know how to open it. You know how you could traverse from the darkness in your life and turn it into a brighter future. But where's the courage? Where's the strength needed to do that one step for a better life, to open that door, the obstacle? You cannot muster that strength whatever you do. You're stuck in darkness, and even with a way in front of you, you cannot figure out how to leave the darkness behind. This over takes you by emotion and hence you sing. And you hope, that one day, you will have the courage to open that door, and feel the sunshine on your face, start over with a fresh life. Write a song on this if you can. If others like this idea, like it and comment on it and get Charlie's attention. Lets see how good of a song he can make with this topic at hand!
