Yeah you right he had really overproduced a lot of the songs on the album
"Left & Right" is easily the best on the album, but I like "I Don't Like Her Anymore" more than I thought I would

Honestly the chill vibe of the album is what makes it good. I don't get how they hate it
His 2019 standalone singles and the vibes are 🔥🔥🔥 hope that he didn't scrap the album... He shouldn't have done that... 😭😭😭

because Elton jogn said his music suck so he cancelled the album. honestly those tracks are much better than these ones and if I were him I would not listen to anything old guy says

I guess this is gonna be another one my “trash taste” pleasures of the year. Oh well, I understand the criticism. It’s just a fun little album for me.

“No Drama” and “Light Switch” were probably my two favorites. Also liked the instrumental of “There’s a First Time For Everything.”

i am not agree with you he made a hit this year with his Album “Charlie” this is more emotionally and speak from a heart (Example: “Tears of my piano”) from a relationship that he had in the past. I think he is great musician! Thank you
I love his recent album last song no more drama is 10/10 other are 8 loser 9
Anthony Fantano did not like these past 2 singles of Charlie Puth's latest album, Charlie! I don't think Theneedledrop will care about this, what Mark calls, "Amaturish!", and if he did, he wouldn't like this either! I recommend checking out some of Fantano's weekly track roundups if you want to know his thoughts on the last few singles from this album.

I loved the album. So many catchy songs.
Glad I heard the album. It was good! Why did you find it bad? I wished you were joking. I hate this review, I will hug the album tight. My opinion: 4.8/5 Almost my favourite genre, plus it is simple, which I like

This album is great imo.
My Opinion (God, I wanna like this guy cause he seems like a pretty cool guy irl and I liked Voicenotes a lot, but man, this really wasn't any good at all. Plus, Charlie Be Quiet! might just be one of the worst songs I've heard all year) 4/10 Best Songs: No More Drama (Sorry, Mark), Tears on My Piano, Left and Right ft. Instead of wasting my time on this album (which I won't by the way) imma just replay Omar Apollo's Ivory which is way better than what Charlie Puth has ever done. And y'all should do too

As someone who got into him with his Voicenotes album (and initially heard some great snippets for a scrapped third album), this was disappointment of the year for all the reasons you said.

“That’s Not How This Works” and “Me and You.” Loved those instrumentals and the vocal production wasn’t as bad as it was consistently on this album.

A little harder to tell from the snippet quality, but it sounded like both did kinda have a little of that overly-orbiting vocal production that plagued this album, though I did still kinda like “Reply To This.” I was personally kinda lukewarm on “Dancing With My Ex” though.
Charlie Poop?
It isn't terrible but it also isn't good, that's a couple of highlights like That's Hilarious or Left & Right but the rest is bad, No More Drama is one of the worst songs of the year & the whole album has bad production (the problem with Charlie production everything himself) 2.5/5 and that is me being generous cause I like That's Hilarious

Yeah it's horrific. Probably the worst album I've listened to this year. Everything is several steps below Voicenotes
Well I'm not surprised about the expectations for this album at all. Best: Light Switch, Left & Right Worst: Charlie Be Quiet
