You do realize how many people can produce and play and create songs right by themselves right? Charlie isn’t one of a kind. Yes he is very talented and I would be very humble to meet him. But there’s a logical process behind his artistic creation and Charlie seems very self conscious about that.

Charlie said at 2:48 that "How Long" was the world exclusive, so this must have been filmed before "How Long" was released and then uploaded here two months after the song came out. You know what I think is more of a world exclusive, though? If we assume that he made up the melody at 4:30 that he added to at 4:41 (Edit: 4:42) right then and there, that means the cameraman got on film the very moment Charlie conceived "Done for Me!" I swear, that is the melody of the chorus for "Done for Me." Edit: Okay, the pitches at the end are slightly different, but still... that shows the melody was a work in progress! Edit 2: Plus, "If You Leave Me Now" (5:45) hadn't been released at the time of this video's upload, so that was also a world exclusive!

Perfect pitch doesn't mean he can sing perfectly in pitch. It means he can aurally and verbally identify the pitch of notes accurately without using an instrument as a reference. I know people that have perfect pitch who are not great singers.

Haha. You are not wrong about pitch correction, but as the ArkRaider22 said, "perfect pitch" refers to the ability to identify or sing a note without a reference point. This is a really awesome ability to have and means you can essentially write a song in your head like he demonstrates. I spent quite awhile trying to attain perfect pitch but couldn't quite get it. I do, however, have great "relative" pitch, which means if you give me a starting pitch I can sing any note on a scale (or identify chords) based on it. This is why a-cappella singers have a those little pitch flutes they play before each song. If everybody had perfect pitch they wouldn't need it. ANYWAY...Charlie Puth is clearly a very gifted musician, and I love seeing how he is able to make whatever goes on in his head come to life.
