Ok, let's finally settle this endless fan debate: ✅️ Charlie takes Alan in, which was very kind (still, also kinda self-evident among siblings). ⛔️ Alan has serious plans to move back out for at least two years, first to reunite with Judith, then just to get a become self-reliant. It's Charlie who messes up Alan's divorce settlements in season 2! ✅️ Season 3 finale: Charlie stands up for Alan, even canceling his wedding with Mia because he doesn't want Alan to leave (which is his own decision and shows he does want him there). ⛔️ same night: Alan marries Kandi and moves out after all! ✅️ same night: Alan wins half a million dollars but lets his 22-year-old bride spend it all in four months, who also divorces him shortly afterward. ➡️ alimony for two ex-wives (which is Alan's own fault, of course) ✅️ Season 4: Judith gets remarried, so Alan's (obscene!!) alimony payments stop. ⛔️ Charlie has no problem almost ruining that for him, too, by sleeping with Judith's new sister-in-law. ⛔️ After realizing how disrespectful Charlie will always treat him, Alan basically moves out. ... He comes crawling back halfway out the door, but Charlie is about to tell him to stay). ✅️ Over the years, Charlie not only allows Alan but several of his girlfriends to stay, partly without being asked. ⛔️ Alan moves out and into the house of one of said girlfriends (... and burns it down the first night, I know! 😅 but he does actually move out for a few hours ^^). *Bottom line:* It's safe to say that Alan definitely ows Charlie more, yet it's not like Charlie doesn't owe Alan anything. Regardless, none of that is the reason for their ongoing tension. That goes way back to their childhood issues caused by a toxic mother figure. For ex., both have always been jealous of the other, which leads to this series of conflicts in adult life ...while the one they should really be mad at is Evelyn, who screwed up both of them (though in different ways) with her self-absorbed, unintuitive, emotionally distant parenting, but won't ever admit it. I've realized it's what my sister and I have been doing for years. Since it's pretty hard to make our parents admit to or even talk about the triggers they set up in our souls, we take it out on each other.

@@asm7406 Oh, I'm sorry. Did Charlie barge into Alan's house and act like it was his?
So this is about a bowl
I like Charlie role more then Walden because is humor is sharp and admirable. Alan I feel sorry for him because everybody mistreats him including his brother and son.

It’s a horrible bowl by the way. Hideous jajajaja. I am learning some English here.

I thought it was a nice bowl and if you ask me Charlie was being an ass. There is nothing wrong with owning a bowl.
So what it's filled butterscotch? 😋

People always seem to forget Charlie owes Alan too. Charlie screwed up his divorce settlement and now Alan pays way more per month than he would have in Alimony.

@Sumora You don't remember? Alan pays an obscene amount of alimony to his ex-wife for the only reason that Charlie slept with + dumbed Alan's divorce attorney, who then made him lose everything to get back at Charlie.
Allan is such a woman😁
