Charlie Adelson's Defense Presents Closing Argument in Hitman Conspiracy Murder Trial

Ойын-сауық

Attorney Dan Rashbaum delivered the defense’s closing argument Monday morning in Charlie Adelson's murder trial. “They’re guessing about Charlie,” Rashbaum claimed while defending Adelson’s innocence and discussing the prosecution's "guessing game" in the murder trial of former FSU Law Professor, Daniel Markel. Adelson could face a life sentence if convicted.

This is karmic on so many levels. I will list 2 number 1s. 1) Dan loved the law, and now the law is "loving" him back. It seems as if Dan is guiding the prosecution throughout the investigations, trials etc. 1) The kids are now of age to understand that these monsters killed their father and have been brainwashing them all these years. It's karmic, because of the timing of Charlie conviction and Donna's arrest. If the kids were younger, they may have believed all the brainwashing. 2) Donna, Charlie, Wendi who killed Dan to get away from Tallahassee, are all now going back to the same place, but now as murderers and in total disgrace. 3) It's karmic, because all the money is now going towards legal fees and Charlie to get protection in prison. 4) It's karmic that these monsters are brainwashing themselves with their own narcissism and don't seem to understand that "normal" people exist, who have common sense, like the jurors who used logic, common sense and the evidence to convict Charlie. It's karmic that the only juror who "might" have caused a mistrial was not chosen to deliberate the verdict. Even after the verdict, this juror still tried to get a mistrial. 5) It's karmic because after all these monters did, murdering Dan, changing the kids name, brainwashing the kids etc, these kids will now end up being with the Markels and will know the truth. 6) It's karmic for the other son Robert, who moved away with his wife, because now that we know how evil these people are, who knows what they might have done to his wife. 7) It will be karmic when Wendi, one way or another will be charged for the murder of Dan. Whether it's for the murder or wrongful death, she will end up in court.

Then Katie decided she wanted that money & came up with the extortion scheme knowing Charlie would pay because he was scared as he had “inquired” about doing such a thing . He was also scared shitless that he would be killed himself. He should have come clean about what happened, if that was the story & he told the whole story in court I’d bet he would have been free right now. Rashbaum is YELLING at the jury!!! It was exactly what made it difficult to watch originally. As the saying goes, if the client is unlikable - it's a benefit to like the defense attorney.... Charlie AND Rashbaum (in this closing) are beyond unlikable, insulting, yelling is demanding (& echoes the Adelson entitlement).... FYI, that why IMO you failed to ask the jury to listen to the closing argument (so you lost you chance to persuade) - the law & the facts are on the Prosecutor's side & you shot yourself in the foot all on your own. However i do feel a little sad for liar Charlie because he was living his life and i don't believe he cared either way or the other what was going on in Wendi's life but he did yearn for approval from his mother. Wendi put the thoughts into her mother's head as she tried to put in Lacasse's head. Lacasse was focused on Wendi and ignored everything else. He wouldn't have ever fallen for that anyway. Wendi is now living her life, maybe scared of what is coming up for her but not real concern about what she did to Charlie's life. IMO Wendi destroyed the lives of so many people, including her own children. Wendi played everyone like a fiddle.

This closing argument is rambling, disorganized, erratic, lacks any coherent theme, and is just an overall disaster. Charlie and Donna tell each other in their post-conviction phone conversations that they think Rashbaum did a masterful job. Poor Broward Cpunty bumpkins. They don’t have a clue. I think the result speaks for itself.

Lol it's terrible. His lack of trial experience is very evident..in everything from his opening statement, to cross examining the witnesses, and down to this horrendous closing argument. Just completely laughable. But in his defense, he was given an impossible task: to prove Charlie Adelson innocent when every single piece of evidence pointed to the opposite. Bottomline, all the money and trial experience in the world couldnt/wouldn't buy this man a second chance..and rightfully so 😊

Obviously, Mr Adelson is out- lawyered. His non-sense examples make no sense themselves. I’m old. I’ve known a million “Charlies”. They’ve been made to feel special all their lives. At this stage of his little “problem”, he’s completely positive he’ll beat the rap. Smug is a good adjective. Knowing he’s been found guilty, he may want to begin praying like a monk that he’s not sent to the same prison as even one of the Latin Kings! He’s as dumbfounded and awestruck as his family.

Love it. Rashbaum has to explain away / apologize for how rehearsed / detailed Charlie was on the cross. He knew he came across as an arrogant, insincere liar with zero credibility. Rashbaum goes into damage control mode. And the sociopathic narcissist Charlie tells everyone in his jailhouse calls how great he did on the stand.
