Is 36vdc okay for it? Because I put 36vdc in an amplifier, it did fine, but I was worried, if you were wondering, I was using a 32v transformer, which brings 120vac into 32vac, but after rectifying it with a full bridge rectifier, with a 320uf 32vdc capacitor, the output was 36vdc, and why is that and is it okay for the amplifier? Edit: how does a fast USB-A charger know what voltage the device is requesting? Is it by the 2 data lines between the voltage lines?

According to the module it takes 40V maximum so I guess it can also take 36V and yes the Phone communicates with charger then the charger provides required voltage, and default voltage is Always 5V
