Synopsis:
"Charade" follows Regina "Reggie" Lampert (Audrey Hepburn), who returns to Paris from a skiing holiday to find that her husband, Charles, has been murdered. Reggie finds an ally in the charming Peter Joshua (Cary Grant), whom she met during her holiday. However, as the plot unfolds, Peter's true identity becomes increasingly ambiguous, with him assuming multiple aliases including Alexander Dyle and Adam Canfield. The situation becomes even more complex when a mysterious figure named Carson Dyle (Walter Matthau) enters the fray, claiming to be a U.S. government agent.
The chase through Paris leads to numerous twists and turns, culminating in a dramatic showdown in an empty theater where Reggie is trapped between Peter and Carson.
