The lightwrap! and so much more... every sections break down got me a little jazzed up with new tidbits for character workflows in cinema. This presentation is a straight up gem :)
Best hour I ever spent with a C4D tutorial! What a talent.
Great tips, Alex! Would love to see more character-centric content like this.
Maxon, знайте, что вы - лучшие. Maxon, know that you are the best.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TALENT AND BEAUTIFUL ! THANK YOU ALEX!!!!
Wow!! So excited
absolutely gorgeous
Thanks for this! Some great tips! Love your work and style! I've used the posterize time effect for the stop motion look with beat heavy animations and found that keyframing the layer off during those contact frames did the trick. The change of rhythm in the posterize is not noticeable and allows you to get those contact points.
Super helpful. Thanks Alex! 15 year user of C4D and still learned a lot from this.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Nick! Thank you!
Wooo..nice
What a great tutorial! ± 2 times per week I go to a friend who helps me to make 3D animations as a hobby. He actually uses C4D to setup basic characters and set design in order to study how light interacts with them. Eventually he draws cartoons from these results. Really cool stuff too btw. Your approach with animating the mouth is something we did too some time ago, but we wondered: "how to move the chin/jaw too?" Do you have any tips? Thank you in advanced!
Best video to wake up to 🔥
Great! can you please talk about material in this examples/ how you doing it (cartoon style)
The deformer being used for modeling was a total revelation. I had never seen that before.
Nice
Premiere will be around 10 pm , Brazilian time. I hope I can watch the first hour, since I will need to sleep earlier, today
I started as a Photoshop user doing basic graphics. Now I'm at the 3D. Learning process really never stops huh.

@@karanwadhwa7969 really fkin good bro. limitless possibilities. I also notice most brands uses 3d + 2d on their logo animation right now most especially because metaverse future is coming. 2d and 3d combined is so beautiful and novel.

It's just what's familiar! :) And a big fan of the subsurface scattering capabilities too.
To select Children objects, just select the parent object with middle button of your mouse. :)
Real question. Are you using an EGPU or just a full Mac? 🤔

Hi there! After spending two months on a 55 minute technical presentation, I'm sorry that physical appearances were your biggest takeaway. I do hope you enjoyed the actual content of the material. Cheers!

@@ladybirdanimation wait wait, commenting on your appearance is a bad thing?! I think this past toxic feminist movement is getting to youre head. I didnt mean anything bad by it but all of the sudden "This is what sticking up for female colleagues in animation looks like" because i commented on how pretty you were instead of the work which i mean add, i did notice, but it was just a simple comment that now you have decided to turn into something else. Uh, why? Do you think that diminishes your skills or overlooks them? if thats what you actually think so, shouldnt you stop wearing make up all together since appearances should be the last thing you should case about? These are genuine questions to someone that was, offended? by someone calling them, pretty. Wow, which by how soft you are, ill be taking that back lol
ha, the 'logo wall' is commonly referred to as a 'step and repeat.' That's good tho.
