I started wordle with LINER today. So imagine my surprise when I went to connections after..

I was thinking Blue was "A place to hang out", or a "Joint". Like a Hole or Spot, or Corner. Didn't even consider the other definition. Strands: So much better than yesterday. Got a perfect score! Art, it really bothers me when you say (about Connections) "It was a tough one, right guys" as if it was tough for EVERYONE. It was tough FOR YOU. I'm a woman and today's Connections wasn't tough FOR ME at all. I didn't know what the purple category was, but I got the other three no problem. I do give you a lot of credit for spotting degrees as the purple category though.

I don't mind when he thinks it's tough, but it bothers me when he literally says, "Everyone will get this today." or "I'm sure everyone will have an easy time today." Haha! I definitely didn't, but thanks for making me feel dumb!

Could you explain what the numbers mean? Is this some sort of scoring system?

​@@christiana6018 Yes. You have to name the category before selecting it. Score 1 if substantially correct, 0.5 if you weren't specific enough. E.g. I score 0.5 for cosmetics because I didn't say they were for lips.

@@christiana6018 It's the scoring system we used in February, March, and April. Some of us find it fun to continue using it even though we're not doing a competition. You can use it if you want. Nobody will be bothered either way, if you use that scoring system or not. Bonuses: Under 5 minutes: +1 In color order (either direction): +1

I think that was just some wishful thinking on Art's part because he got hung up on "remover." 😃You can REPAIR a hole (like darning a sock) or FILL IN a hole (like spackling a wall) and maybe that's what Art had in mind. But you're right, you really can't remove a hole and a "hole remover" is not a thing.
