You got very lucky there on Wordle. It could also have been COWER, TOWER, BOWER, HOMER, FOYER, JOKER... and a bunch more, I would guess.

Art, I hate to tell you this but you DO have a MUSTACHE. Wordle-- ORATE--COVER. It's the first word that came to my mind.

I don't think you'd find a cherry in a Bloody Mary. Olives, yes.

I took me until 5 for wordle. Strands misdirected me for a small bit. I saw toothbrush first so I was looking for lipstick, tongue, etc. Then I found mustache and it fell into place. I looooved the connections. I was tickled to get the purple as I am not a fan.

My favorites are "The spy who loved me" and "Moonraker" with Jaws! Casino Royale, Tomorrow never dies, Quantum of solace, Diamonds are forever.

Moonraker is my favorite! Never thought I'd find someone who'd agree. Always loved the interactions between Bond and Jaws. Plus the space battles were fun.

I was fully aware of the danger I was in right from the jump. I made a careful decision on every turn. It took me all the way to turn 6, to get myself out of the trap.

Tried to group umbrella with what I thought of as the "protective barrier" group.

A good day today, 2 on Wordle, started Strands with the Spangram, got connections apart from not getting blue i guessed "stone". Very happy i got the James Bond movies that was obscure.

Saw TOOTHBRUSH right away but that was misleading because it was thinking of oral care. Then I saw HANDLEBAR and realized what the theme would be. I cound the potential spangram after that but I still had to be careful about whether it was plural or not so I had to see WALRUS before I could lock in the spangram. Total solve time 2:38. CONNECTIONS 373, 8.5 4+3.5 base, order bonus. TV Remote Buttons (0.5) - Technically too specific. Even though the four words are clearly found on TV remotes, Wyna's category could involve anything from a media player remote to a HVAC remote to a garage door opener to a drone controller. @@doraa.7873 I have no facial hair. I failed trying to grow a beard and didn't really take pains to keep my mustache well groomed years ago. Just the simple shaving of my face is enough for me. 😂

First wordle ive failed in a while

Wordle in 3 SEPIA CHORE COVER Connections: Couldn't get Blue category, and made one mistake, but did get it in under 5 minutes. Overall not bad, but kinda average. Never heard of a "Sword" for a Drink Garnish. Got the Purple within seconds, though. Strands: Spangram first and under 5 minutes. Tricky one! I was thinking dental hygiene for a while, until I figured it out.

Wordle 1,095 6/6 ⬛🟨⬛⬛⬛ SEPIA ⬛🟩⬛🟩🟩 TONER ⬛🟩🟩🟩🟩 LOVER ⬛🟩🟩🟩🟩 HOVER 🟨🟩🟨⬛⬛ ROCKY 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 COVER Whew is right. I had to break out of hard mode for guess 5 because I did not want my streak to end. I was worried about ROVER, COVER, and MOVER. Strands #107 “It’s right under your nose!” 🔵🔵🔵🟡 🔵🔵 I looked for and didn’t find what I thought was the spangram right away but it turns out I didn’t know how to spell it. The spangram itself looks like a mustache. I knew HORSE was not a puzzle word because there were two ways to make it. Art, please stop making judgements on how easy or difficult people are going to find Connections, or any of the puzzles but especially that one. People have very different knowledge bases and your personal base of knowledge is not universal, and doesn't even reflect all of your viewers. So when you go, "Everyone should find this easy", well, no, not everyone does. You can see that if you go over and watch Everyday Doug who didn't complete the puzzle today and didn't see the Bond movies or the drink garnishes. To give another example, I personally thought the movie title Connections from last week was a breeze, got it I, 2, 3. You didn't find it easy at all. But both of our experiences are valid. It's important to note that *you* found today's Connections easy, not that *it is easy*.

It is easy to get frustrated with these games. Certain family members have lectured me about being careful with my blunt comments upsetting people in this site. I reassure them that I am just dealing with very pleasant/intelligent people being quite harmless. My comments are often good and the negative ones are usually my issues. 😂

Art is referring to some of the OUTSTANDING players who have participated in his tournaments like Lisa, Chinareds, Andrea, and Oranje, for example, finding today's Connections easy. It is a matter of specifying things. I continue to enjoy learning things from these games and from various people in these sites including the spokespeople. I am certainly NOT one of the outstanding players in THIS site and was pleased getting 8 points in Connections today. I am pretty good at Wordle, getting better at Strands, and have my spurts in Connections. 😊

I am having issues with my phone in regards to information being deleted. If I continue to have more I LOVE LUCY episodes, I will turn into a different kind of BEAST in comparison to you, Lisa! 😂
