    Just picked up this bike a few weeks ago and it's a fantastic machine. Still too cold to ride here in NJ but soon. Guess I'm lucky it came with a center stand;) I'd be careful trying to bend that shift linkage straight as it might have work hardened and become brittle. Could snap on you real easy.

    Thanks. Yes, I’ve used it once out in West Texas. Got caught out in very strong headwinds and my gas mileage was pretty bad. I used it before running empty, so I really don’t know if I’d made it or not. I also dump it in the tank every so often to keep fresh gas in it. Safe and happy riding, Chad.

    Brake fluid should not get low unless there is a leak somewhere.

  • @1leftadventures258

    @1leftadventures258

    2 жыл бұрын

    Yep. You’re correct. As long as you have new pads. As the pads wear, it takes more fluid to push through the calipers and engage the pads. The thinner the pads, the more fluid is needed. So if you add fluid to get the most of your pads, it’ll be too much when you replace them.

    A couple of time you mentioned a possible major problem but I didn't get what it could be. Also why do chains come open, it looks like you are able to put it on even if it was already linked

  • @1leftadventures258

    I’m sorry. I think what you are talking about from that video was my shift assist linkage was bent. It still is actually. I agree about why send chains open. Generally we change the sprockets with the chain. I guess they send them open in case some doesn’t want to pull sprockets? 🤷🏼‍♂️ But thanks for the comment. I really appreciate it.
