Forgot to unscrew oil cap first. That oil cap vacuum prevents proper draining.

Crikey why one thing love those Jeeps, no need to jack it up , but you used a 1/2 in, but it's 13mm so not too stripe the bolt and the filter is same as all 3.6 v6 and 24mm to take it off, just saying!

WOW, what a breeze on that car! Don't even need a jack! Just get underneath, drain it, and the oil filter's right there on top, nothing in the way!

Two things not mentioned in this video, make sure you replace the o-ring on the oil filter cap, and don’t check your dipstick the first time you take it out, pull it out, wipe it clean, put the dipstick back in then pull it back out for an accurate reading

Always be sure to not over tighten the oil filter housing cap when reinstalling it. The plastic housing is usually brittle from heating and cooling cycles and crack very easily leaving you with a oil leak and a days worth of work to replace the oil cooler 😂

make sure to change your oil filter canister seals too!

I like your style as a kid growing up ( I’m 38 ) watching my dad cut a 2 liter soda bottle in half and using it as a funnel this too me back to nostalgialand!

Well, fogot to take the oil cap off at the beginning. Also forgot to put the replacement gasket on the filter housing/cap

Make sure you follow torque specs. 18-19 foot pounds for the filter, 20 for the oil pan drain plug.
