As a woman over 50, I have become pretty picky about what apps I choose to download and I’ve come up with a little bit of criteria that I use to decide if I’m going to invest time or even money to download a particular app. In today's round up I'm sharing my favorite apps that have transformed my travel experiences, from helping me sleep, to keeping me safe and even making me stronger and more confident. I use you tube and find thunderstorms on tin roofs as my white noise
I use Duo Lingo for Italian …145 days strong! And I use a actual fan for white noise at home and an app for a fan on my iPad when I travel.
At home I use my Alexa/Echo Dot to play white noise. My favorite is the oscillating fan. I also usually unwind with an audiobook playing on a timer. When traveling I use the White Noise app on my iPad, usually with the oscillating fan or air conditioner sound. I can’t sleep with absolute silence. 🤷♀️😊

I listen to podcasts or audiobooks at night.
American did that to me. They left in Charlotte for 3 hours. All my appointments were either canceled or pushed back. All the offered was 100.00 of next booking.
Great video! We use a small white noise machine when traveling vs the phone but have been considering Time Shifter for a while.
My husband and I have used a white noise machine for about 15 years now. I found a small one that we take when traveling, as I find the apps do not work consistently. We usually use either brown noise or pink noise.
I love that you lived in Nicaragua for a while. It's such an underrated country....we live there half of the year and tbh I'd love there full time ❤. I use Duolingo all the time and I've attained a level of Spanish that is basically fluent enough to do all but the most complex business

Auto draft never works for me. I will always believe it’s intentional.
I dislike noise machines/apps. They are very stressful to me. If I'd had to pick something it would be yoga/meditation music. Auto draft is not good. If they double draft you or something happens, most will not refund you. They give you a "credit".
