Sandra, yes. I was blessed to get an early copy of Dr Ede’s book and I couldn’t help but think IF only I had this during my deepest, darkest days I know it would’ve given me hope and a way out. While reading the book it made me tear up a little bit realizing how important it is. I literally spent the majority of my adult life looking for what is so beautifully outlined within this book. It is very powerful stuff. It’s also the reason I’m so passionate about the proper human diet .This book is truly going to help so many people! I am thankful, grateful and blessed for the opportunity to talk to Dr. Ede and share this information with my audience.

@@Homesteadhow you had me choked up and emotional watching you on this video. Sometimes being an Empath is no fun when you can actually feel other people's pain. 😢😔 But it's all good now 😃 and I'm so happy for you! 😃😊 I'm going to order the book to learn from it so I can help others. I never experienced depression myself. Only sadness sometimes. But even the sadness never lasts for me. I get over sad things pretty quickly. I guess I'm afraid of actually going deep into darkness so I get out quickly. I know a lot of people who have been depressed, and I don't want to go there. It's bad enough I feel their depression, I don't want it to get worse feeling it for myself. My last name means "abyss" (it's from Spain, from where my ancestors came) so I don't want to go there. But I can think of it as the abyss of God's Joy! And that's how I view life!

The hospital was giving him chocolate ice cream to get him to eat and nutrition wasn’t part of his healing at all. He is back to 290 pounds and out of the hospital but he loves fast food. The front of my head doesnt feel full like i need to drain it. Im showering a little earlier in the day. I just feel a bit more hopeful. Im eating like salami and cheese sticks still and my sparkling water has "natural flavors" listed but no sweeteners and im having black tea as well. So its not like a pure clean diet yet but im just trying to break off the carbs and sugar for now. Im eating A LOT. I started this for my adhd and depression and i am hopeful to lose weight as well but i have been low functioning for years and focalin is not helping. Im really optomistic with how my brain feels only after 3 days

I’ve told you this before Kerry but…. I’m 61 yrs old and a year ago I was not only morbidly obese at almost 300 lbs but I was also T2 diabetic (A1C 8+) with high blood pressure, fatty liver disease, chronic arthritis in both knees and my shoulder, headaches, IBS, chronic acid reflux and sleep apnea, chronic fatigue and more… I have also struggled with bipolar depression, anxiety ADHD and brain fog, for most of my adult life and went to a very dark and hopeless place for many years… took meds but nothing seemed to really work, they just dulled the pain and I felt like a walking zombie. I went keto (and more recently ketovore) a yr ago and I can’t even begin to tell you how much better I feel!!! My depression, anxiety and ADHD are in full remission and I’m off all meds for these conditions (in conjunction with my psychiatrist who is blown away with my progress!!!)…. My brain fog has lifted, I have limitless energy and mental clarity… it’s like I’ve been reborn!! Also, I’ve lost nearly 70 lbs (now down to 225 lbs, lowest since I was in my 20’s!!)… I’ve completely reversed my T2 diabetes (A1C is now 5.4), fatty liver disease, high blood pressure, arthritis, acid reflux, sleep apnea, headaches and more are all… COMPLETELY GONE AND/OR CURED!!! All achieved by simply adopting a Proper Human Diet, eliminating all added sugars, carbs, highly refined grains, starchy veg and toxic seed oils, etc. Now I eat mostly fatty red (and other) meats, fish, seafood with a limited amount of non-starchy veg, nuts, cheese, avocado and berries. I wish I could bottle and sell how great I feel Kerry and give it to people FOR FREE and help change and save their lives and the lives of their friends, family and loved ones😊😊😊

By throwing out the junk and carbs I went to 200 when they found the muscle invasive bladder cancer at the same time as what I thought was the main thing. Anyway after some slicing, three organs yanked, I can feel a sense of normalcy. Now anxiety has become a tool. The excised adrenal seemed to have tamed the beast. It’s great to find a psychiatrist with insight into how metabolic dyscrasias such as phenochromocytoma can respond positively to a carnivore lifestyle. This is the future of mental health care.

That is a true statement about our diets! Considering how the medical industry has been trying to kill is all, they don’t want us well. That’s all changing of course. But now we need to fix so many, and it can be done with diet. My issue is that I have had so many bad dentists, my mouth is missing so many teeth I can’t chew most meat, or anything else. I will most likely have to go through surgeries just to get to the point of having either implants or some other miracle. They messed up my bite, which caused more teeth to come out! Mostly root canals, which causes so much harm to our health. I definitely need divine intervention!

I've been using the carnivore diet since July 23' to help with my medical and mental conditions. I've taken it seriously the last few weeks as I had a strong sugar addiction to overcome. I had my first real anxiety test when I had to go to a doctors appointment. Still had nervousness, still had to hit the bathroom a few times. But I was able to push through things fairly quickly and calm down. I've had minor panic attacks before leaving causing me to cancel plans last minute, vomit, have anxiety based diarrhea and even struggled to travel more than 5 minutes from home without being overwhelmed . Carnivore has really been a massive improvement in my life but I wanted to point out this one thing I just had this happen today. I'm going to keep running head first into 2024. Thriving ... that is the critical difference. Kerry, thank you for sharing Dr. Ede's important work. I shudder to think of how many people have suffered devastating side effects of anti-depressant medications they might not have needed. I've heard accounts of serious weight gain, elevated blood sugar that led to diabetes, and other troubling side effects. I look forward to what we will continue to learn about the role of diet in promoting mental well-being. It looks like another book to be added to my nutrition library! 😊

What a wonderful interview! I've been listening to Dr Ede for several years now. Her video "Little shop of Horrors" was what got me interested. I had been keto for several years and had many health improvements but never could get off the anti depressant I'd been on for 8-10 years until I went carnivore. It was then that I found that, for me at least, it was mostly the plants in the night shade family causing my mental issues. She and Dr Chris Palmer have been great sources who have enabled me to finally be rid of mental meds! Thanks Kerry for your hard work and passion for helping people get better!

Kerry, you knocked one "out of the park" for another homerun, bases loaded! Georgia Ede's book has a free introductory download on Google Books, so that you can pique your interest on whether to buy her brand new book: Oh My Gosh - what a delightful book! But getting back on point here, your research and setup of your questions is a "tour de force"! Wow! I thought I knew nearly everything, but Dr. Ede taught me a few things😊 with her "plain-speak," which doesn't confuse you with maddening medical terminology. Dr. Ede gets an A+. The interviewer gets an A++! Buy her book...smile!

I started keto in 2014 and have been reasonably successful, I've lost a little over 100lbs in weight and fixed a bunch of health issues. I started leaning more towards carnivore in 2018, I admittedly had a couple of slips due to a lot of personal issues and dealing with grief but other than that I have stuck to it. The one thing I still struggle with is mental health which I've struggled with my entire life. In October 2023 I was diagnosed with autism at 57 years of age so whether that is a factor I don't know, but what I do know is I have never had any inner peace in many years, the last 4 years have been absolutely monstrous!

Great guest, interesting and informative content. Looking forward to getting a copy of the book. On the street, we hear little about inflammation and a proper human diet as being a way of dealing with it. The proverbial dripping tap, the slippery slope of inflammation, in the background, overlooked or ignored, setting the scene for imbalance, poor physical and mental health, that no medication will properly fix. Good advice to target the refined carbohydrates and seed oils in first instance imo. These are the money-spinners for big food (the anti PHD camp) and later, big pharma (who mop up the casualties). That box of meds, Kerry - this definitely needs to be preserved as Exibit A, the medical approach to a solution that failed.

Dr Ede was the first person I learnt of the dangers of plant toxins many years ago. It was kind of seen as silly back then. But now it seems to be more accepted, since the growth of the carnivore movement. About time too! I just got her book and am looking forward to reading it.

I believe a lot of mental health issues are caused by childhood trauma. I have been on a long journey of trying to find out why my mental health has been bad my whole life. There are things that can be done to help heal childhood trauma too. I am now trying the Keto diet and hoping that it will help me.

Oh! I was hoping she'd write a book about it! I lost a friend recently because he refuses to hear me out when I tell him you're mental issues are most likely gonna fix themselves on a no carbs diet and he's been obese and diabetic since his childhood. 😢 Same with my other friend who's plagued by anxiety and he also refuses to think a proper diet will help. He thinks eating in specific ways will lead to eating disorders. 😢 It's hard to talk about these things to people who have been told for decades by professionals that it's all genetics and trauma. Nothing much to do about it except therapy and drugs and nothing's working.

It was the opposite for me..I changed my mind by addressing trauma/depression/anxiety and that changed my diet. The carnivore diet does support better mental health..but it can't heal ancestral trauma..that requires psychoanalysis.
