I know this sounds crazy, but when you get good at Track and XC, they're about on par with the amount of difficulty in Wrestling. The only reason I said is when you get good at those two is because in wrestling, if you're not good, you will still have a difficult time no matter what. Not to mention running has an way easier learning curve then Wrestling. When you are good at those sports though, the mental and physical part of running is equal to wrestling.

Yeah I seen that match lol. He was gassed out after the first period, but had a good lead because he almost pinned nate tomasello. Nathan slowly came back and won and the kid just gave up.

I don't get it, why was Edgar bright wrestling against another St. Edwards wrestler? Was it like a inter-team scrimmage?

Exactly. They're just as hard as each other. They have their differences, but the mindset for all of them are the same.

yeah, running can get really hard at times, but after running 5 miles, im ALMOST as tired as i am after 2 matches, your whole body aches after wrestling, when i run, my back, legs, and butt are kinda sore, but i run XC and i wrestle (i favor wrestling cause i've been into martial arts since a young age and wrestling is my favorite out of them all) I think wrestling is much more difficult, your whole body is into it and like you said you have to maintain perfect form, running is just boring to me

You might want to re-read what I said. I said when you become good at Track and XC it's on par with Wrestling difficulty wise. Every runner is different, so I don't know why you're making it seem they're all the same. In Wrestling there's the same event every time, you wrestle... The mentality changes because you're shooting for a better time then before. Every person in track and XC is unique. Wrestling is an event. Everytime you go to run it's not a fresh start? Silly reasoning.

Then why hop into the conversation? You just said you have to experience of those other sports, so you wouldn't know the blood, sweat and pain they put in it. You judging those sports like that is how other people stereotype wrestling calling it gay, easy, and boring. Grow up.

  • @Kobebryant921

not true. your arguments are fairly ignorant (no offense) in the sense that if all you've ever done is endurance sports, you wouldn't know. first of all, running is painful, but not hard. Running burns and is mentally taxing, but you rarely have to maintain near perfect form while exhausted and recieving physical pain as well. Excelling in running comes down to mastering your mind, but excelling in wrestling means keeping every part of your game dominant (physical, mental, technical).

no disrespect to wrestling but swimming, cross country, and track have something to say about your "one sport that really tests your limits" claim. Just saying, shows that your understanding of limits is in fact, limited.

Lmao, that's really mature. Trying to blame the Air Force on why you're so ignorant about other sports. That was also really irrelevant. I'm going to be the man here and end this conversation.

I know this is pretty late but all his arguments were empty and biased, Track & XC are definitely up there with wrestling if not just the same difficulty and I agree with you 100%. I run both and you basically have to have the same mentality and work ethic for both in competitions, you push yourself into your extreme limits and then you see how long you can work through the fatigue.
