I wish I found wrestling earlier in life. The best times in my life were on the mat. Every time I lost I cried and every time my hand was raised..... It's a feeling all wrestlers know but can't describe.

Wrestling is not just a sport, its a way of life.

I could watch this video 1000 times and not get tired of it. Words can not describe the feeling of being on the mat.

Remember when I first saw this video my freshman year (perfect timing), haven’t seen any other video even come close or give me the same feeling. Always gave me the motivation to get to practice ASAP every time I watched it, which ended up being uncountable

If you lose in wrestling the only person to blame is yourself. You didn't train hard enough , You didn't work hard enough.

Athleticism, power, technique, body control, speed and endurance. Wrestling is the best. In addition, there is the courage to go into a duel man against man and in front of a large audience and the strength of character to be able to endure losses. The performance that these young people achieve is incredible.

This is an amazing video. Kudos to whomever prepared. One suggestion is that the beginning and end of the video should include a call to action though on how people can find out more or support NCAA wrestling, like taking them to a website, tell them what they can do or where they can watch matches, etc.. I never realized how much I miss wrestling in college until I watched this video.

Think that's how it is almost everywhere. Our school's basketball team thought they were hot shit, but us wrestlers worked way harder than they ever did. Our easiest practice was still way harder than their hardest practice.

Socrates knew what the hell he was talking about... we'd run with the track team before practice, lift with the football team to start practice, drill for hours on the mats, then play a few games with the basketball team to cut a few extra lbs... every day....

The funniest moment during my wrestling season was when we were at practice and the basketball coach was mad at his team and said "do you guys wanna go work with the wrestling team today? Cause i assure you they work way harder than we do" and the next day my basketball friend said "i was nervous cause yall work yalls ass off, i couldn't do it"

At my school the basketball players honestly thought they were the bees knees and thought their workouts were tougher than ours lol. Little did they know the little bit of running they did was just our warm-up and cool-down xD

im a girl, and wrestling is newish at our school. and everybody thinks its gay.. typical.. but ive been really good friends with wrestlers from other schools are they are absoloutly amazing. its so fun to watch them wrestle. id take a wrestler over a basketball player anyday. they are amazing athletes.
