That’s one thing I would’ve changed.” And to my ear it sounds more like, “ain’t it just a damn shame that it never taste the same.” But that’s just me I can’t figure out that last lyric but it almost sounds like “spirits gone I guess I’ve never been alone” or “never been long” or something but I can’t make sense of it. Great job with your take on lyrics though!
