Midland: The Sonic Ranch Documentary 🤠 CMT
Ойын-сауық
In the Spring of 2014, Mark Wystrach, Jess Carson, and Cameron Duddy took 11 days out of their very separate lives to head down to the Sonic Ranch, a studio nestled along the dusty American side of the Rio Grande outside El Paso, Texas. Midland was not so much a band as an experiment fueled by an assortment of spirits - but mostly tequila and the possibilities painted in their imaginations. They had no record label or manager and they had never played a show together. These recordings capture three friends, at a live-in studio in the desert, trying to make a dream come true. The Sonic Ranch official soundtrack is out now. Listen here: Midland.lnk.to/TheSonicRanchCM

Me too bro
This band breaths life back into the sound that country music was built on...thank you for all your creativity and staying true to yourselves.
I stopped listening to country music long ago. Mainly because of the lack of substance it had been providing the last ten or so years. Thank you for bringing back the nostalgia of my childhood.

I hope you guys know how special you are in the country music scene. Stay the course and don’t let the industry mold you in something else. I am half Mexican and love that you know about “onda” because you recognize the magic behind what you do. It is meant to be boys…honor the onda! You guys are amazing!!!! My one wish is to see you in concert. I close my eyes and I’m there!

Thank God for Midland. Saving country music
I totally get as a singer the struggle in the studio for something as simple as “although it was great.” When you’ve been singing it one way for however long, it so hard to change it on the spot in studio and execute it. Cheers yall

As a longtime fan of ZZ Top (Pre MTV era) these guys really bring the Texas flare and pride back to this state. Awesome outfits, total raw Texas music, be it country or rock n roll. They blend both together very well. Been hooked on these guys ever since I first heard them. Total Texas Honky Tonk. Waylon would be proud.
they are so vibrant, I start to see the color thru the black and white
The hard work they showed even when trying to be the best is why I buy their music.
Saving country music one album at a time! I hope this comes out on vinyl! Let It Roll sounds great on vinyl! Thanks Boys! Hopefully I can see you live soon

Your tellin me someone watched David absolutely shred that phrase and still disliked the video?? EDIT: shred the whole song
I just hope these men realize just what they are TOGETHER. Individually, each one of them is so very talented and musically intuitive. Jesse is the genius song writer and vocalist, Mark is the capstone, tall, handsome and awesome vocalist, Cameron, on top of his awesome talent...brings FUN...he hooks us in with that infectious spirit. Please, guys, I hope your lives are good...because you bring a lot of fun and the sense of experiencing these song/scenarios with you. Thank you.
Why doesn't this have 10 million views? This is my favorite band now.

We saw you last night in Birmingham UK May 22 2022. Thank you Midland for honouring the booking in a small capacity venue. We had waited nearly 3 years since we brought our tickets due to covid etc. This video is fab and inspirational. Your songs are great. Thank you John
These guys are saving country music to the next generation, I grew up listening to George strait , alan Jackson , Waylon , willie but these guys here are the future of country. Salud 🍻 from Ferris Texas 🇨🇱 “Los maximos Onda”
Awesome to see the beginning and process. Thanks for putting this out!
You can only see how good a band is when they play live. I had the opportunity a couple of years ago to watch them live and man, the voice and the music don't sound like the record, but like the music is supposed to be heard when it's played live. Enjoyable at another level that two hours passed like it was twenty minutes. Good team around a good band that makes good music. Seguro siguen teniendo la máxima onda!
That was Damn good! Tornillo ,TX!!
You guys give me Dwight yoakam vibes for some reason but I love you guys all the way from Australia! I play your music every time I hop in a car and I won’t apologise to my friends and family for having “I love you, goodbye” on repeat ❤️

Big ups to MIDLAND! Forever grateful you guys decided to form and bless us with these beautiful tracks. GOD BLESS
These guys are in a league of their own. This is pure country music in original form. It is beautiful. Jess Carson's songwriting is the best in the last decade and rivals the greats like Haggard, Owens, Black, and Williams Sr and Jr.. That is how good he is. This music is a gift from God for country music. Jamie Johnson is the only other name to rival. God bless them boys from Texas.
So glad I can watch this from the UK
