I wish you asked about staking LINK and the delays. Also, who’s there competition? Are all the other oracles just working with web 3 companies or are they working with legacy financial institutions as well?

Link is not just oracles. It is a decentralized computation platform offering a suite of decentralized services needed to build advanced smart contracts. No other oracle also provides all of the other services like cross chain, randomness, proof of reserve, automation, etc all in one suite.

No, it won't. Eigenlayer will be trash. No high quality projects will launch there and any project that becomes high quality will leave the platform. Furthermore, zero of the countless bridge and oracle exploits that have happened have had anything to do with economic security; they're all about private key compromises, bugs in code, or bad design. Next, just imagine thinking that something like Aave, which uses Chainlink price feeds and CCIP, is going to be stolen away from Chainlink by random, fragmented 3rd party services launching on Eigenlayer. It will become even more obvious once that composer that Sergey was describing actually launches. No dev will choose piecemeal, fragmented services cobbled together vs the cohesive, integrated UX and easy of Chainlink's composter platform. Eigenlayer will just become a glorified yield vault that is about dumping the token of every AVS launched to juice yield for ETH stakers; not getting actual adoption for the AVS. There will be auto compounding vaults built on it that auto dump every token.
Chain-link does nothing besides dump its token. Everything else is theory and projects that haven’t come to fruition.
