@Jon Davis Keyshawn had numbers close to Michael Irvin. But Irvin went down as a winner and a clutch player, even though he was troubled off the field. Keyshawn was seen as overrated when he left the Jets even though he played quite well. When he was a Jet he was Elite. 1998 and 1999 he had monster years especially for that era.

TJ used to catch a lot of balls on the other side of the field too, Cincy had a pretty potent offense at the time which inflates his numbers a little bit.

Plus Irvin had a huge impact of the dallas dynasty in the 90's, but even take that away Ivrin had a better statistical career than Johnson not to mention he also got those kinds of numbers with all time leading rusher emmitt smith on his team so no Chad isn't even close to Irvin because context matters.

I agree. His numbers crush Chad Johnson’s numbers and he won a SB ring. He is way more HOF worthy than CJ and has been eligible for longer but you don’t see him making a fuss about it. That’s what I think is funny guys like TO and CJ go on this show and make a fuss about why they should be in the HOF. Kind of like how they made a fuss about stuff when they were playing, creating a huge distraction in the locker room. Then you look at guys like Isaac Bruce and Marvin Harrison just do their jobs and ball out, never making a fuss about anything. Those guys have SB rings whereas CJ and TO do not. That is not just a coincidence.

Dude was one of the all time best at getting himself open. You can't touch guys now, if you dropped a prime Chad Johnson into the league RIGHT NOW, he would dominate unless you double or triple teamed him because he would get even more open than he used to.

+Tod Wilkinson Didn't do anything in the playoffs? Do you remember what he did in the biggest game of his career on that bad leg and ankle? He put up even 177 yard in a playoff game for niners once too. And he played for 5 teams over a 15 year career and led them all as the number one wide receiver.

Dude should be in the Hall. No doubt. It's amazing what he did especially for his size. When he played he added a lot of extra drama to the game. I remember one Monday night there was all this hoopla with Chad saying before the game he was going to have something special for everyone so don't turn the station. So the announcers are talking about it during the game and it was either halftime or the end of the game he comes out wearing a Hall of Fame jacket. A bit of a dude but the man brought extra excitement to the game that not many other players did. Sometimes he was a little bit of nails on a chalkboard but he was a major contributer to the game.
