Retiring at 35 is an outstanding feat for an NFL player. The human body isn’t meant to play football. My career ending in my sophomore year in college, due to injuries. It’s a shame Skip would even say that about Shannon.

Shannon went on Stephen A’s podcast shortly after joining First Take and I was surprised at some of the things he said. He said him and Skip basically had no relationship off the air and that they didn’t really even speak between commercial breaks. They had such good chemistry on the air that I imagined that they were very good friends off the air. I pictured them calling and texting each other regularly, especially during games or things that they knew they would be talking about the next day, but according to Shannon, none of that was going on.

It was a lovers quarrel. Shannon partied with Diddy in the 2000s and then starter carrying purses and wearing women’s clothes. Skip clapped Shannon’s cheeks for years. Eventually they broke up and it spilled over onto the show

When it came to the Damar Hamlin tweet.. the best thing Skip could’ve done was clarify what he meant and apologize instead of making it seem like it was everybody else’s fault for how they reasonably misinterpreted what he said

yeah I agree it’s really just another sports show I’ll give them that and I only watch certain videos like when it’s a Dallas W or L or if Lebron scores 50 or something lol. Otherwise it’s not that entertaining
