I don't share your beliefs. But that doesn't mean I can't listen to you talk about them and take something valuable from them, or admire how they have impacted and inspired your work. Whatever motivates people to do good work, and not judge or try to control others - that's what is needed in the world. I'm willing to bet a lot of people watching this channel feel the same. Talk about whatever you want to talk about and folks like me can listen and consider, or we can find the fast forward button.

Rob, please don't ever feel you have to restrict yourself from sharing stories of your teaching or your faith here on KZread. Yes there are haters but they are in the minority. The rest of us love this content. That's why we tune in every day. You have lived a life a family and service and faith that gives you perspective. And I know we all appreciate learning from that. I was raised Catholic and am Catholic today. I'm still learning about my faith as it should be. When I was a little girl, I developed a debilitating disease that left me physically disabled. I will never be able to experience your chateau in person but I love living vicariously through these videos. You have a beautiful home. And what you're doing with it fills me with so much joy and hope for the world. For my nieces and nephews and the world that their maturing into. Keep up the good work. Don't doubt yourself so much. God is leading you in a new direction. And you are humble enough to follow Him. PS where did you store that broken glass? You sound like my dad. He was raised in the '30s so he had that great depression mentality. Nothing got tossed because it would find a use someday. Unfortunately our house was not nearly as big as yours.

Love today’s video, for the walk around town, (that river!), the amazing meal and your chat about how people learn. Experience is by far the best teacher, in my opinion. What you said about visiting a former battlefield for example, that comes with feeling and emotion that a book or movie cannot convey. Thanks Rob and Lesley. No doubt a daily video is a ton of work for you. Much appreciated.

Beautiful sunset! And that meal looked fantastic. So fun to have all those courses to try. I appreciate that you are sensitive to the feelings of others, and that your philosophy appears rooted in common sense and being real. Back in the day, I never wanted to cheat or steal a paper to get a good grade. I wasn't raised that way. It would have been shameful. I wanted to earn my praise and good grades by learning something and improving myself so I could live well in the world, while being a decent person. While not all are religious, I think there are more common threads than not. To me the zeitgeist follows a false narrative, spun by advertisers and social media. Greed and insecurity keep it fed. If each of the students whose lives you touch spreads some good during their lives, you will have accomplished much. I agree so much about engagement. You are good folks. :)

Look how far you have come and how much you have given us, and all the knowledge you have bestowed upon the youth in your program! Wishing you both a joyous Christmas and a beautiful New Year. As a follower of Christ and student of the Bible, I’ve come to see that God’s ways are the ones that bring Life. Some think the Bible just a religious work, but perhaps they’ve not read Proverbs, or looked at the sound advice of Psalm 119. I am also seeing that what folks call “common sense” is in fact a gift from God for all people. I see the practical aspect of your teaching is truly beneficial. Keep developing it!

I'm loving that restaurant's amazing meals! Something I learned from a French lady, is that after a meal you should place your cutlery on the plate side-by-side, (parallel), to show you enjoyed the meal. If you place them crossing each other it's an insult, apparently! I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but just wanted to let everyone know. I wouldn't want to inadvertently seem rude :)

Peugeot q08mwas 10800 euro, though they don’t make them no more. But you should buy a 3-4 year old car from 1 owner and low miles. Since the first years a car devalues a lot.

Way back in 1974 when I was 18 years old, I went to 4 countries in Europe for a month. Rome, Italy was my favorite. My take away from this trip was that Europeans didn't really care for Americans at all. I was spat on by a woman in front of Notre Dame Cathedral for no reason at all! Another person said to our group that "you are from the Midwest" (which we were). I do appreciate your "talks"!

I do not comment often on these videos, but I have noticed lately that you both seem to appear a bit down. Which is understandable in your current circumstances. As someone who has had multiple sudden curves in the road (some I wanted and some I did not) I just wanted to say you are going to be okay, if you open your mind and your heart to the change. You have said often that you had a certain vision of how this would be, but all things of nature have an agenda of their own. Embrace the change, open your mind to accept all help, and be open to the journey. After all, it is just ego that keeps us from seeing that life has a plan all its own. I can tell you from my own experiences that once you put yourself aside, and open yourself up, amazing things happen. Right now, you are both in the inbetween and that is hard, but that is the exact perfect place to be while you mourn your old life, and get ready to embrace the new. It seems to me, that you own the chateau, it is yours, and the best way to protect and nurture the program you created...is to protect the chateau. That may be in a different form that you planned, but both are worthy. I encourage you to find ways to fund yourself and the chateau...off season, so that you can continue to grow your program. You have an amazing asset to work with, and you lease the chateau to the program, that does not mean (in my view) that exploring other ways to fund the chateau and yourselves is bad. Anyway, I have been thinking of this for several days and just wanted to get my thoughts out there.
