Great explanation of how the CVT works to those of us that have just a basic understanding. "At 5% throttle, it's shifting into 2nd or 3rd gear, this boggs the motor down"

Come on Blake I've been following you I could send you pictures if you want I got my 30-in cryptids on here you got to tell me what stages he went through on your clutch so I can either send it out or do it myself. I took one hell of a ride yesterday because of Corona virus I could take the river right down much further than I ever could before because they're not closing the locks. Is one of the best rides you've ever had but I need to know what I got to do so I don't burn this belt up cuz I can tell that there's definitely more weight on these tires. That's good information, cvt always have been mysterious for me, I mean, I have changed roller on my atv for having more rpm by taking lighter one, but it look like there is so more we can do to help the motor to give his maximum, I will give a look at his video. BTW I have learned something today, the 600 2020 will be available in France only as the touring version. I don't want a long chassis, so I can forget CF Moto for my future atv, I am a bit sad cause now that outlander or sportsman 570, the only 2 that are interesting for me, not a lot of choice...

Hi. great review and explanation. i just purchased a 2022 cf moto 600 touring. I am noticing the atv is revving very high at low speed. Its up around 5000 rpm when doing around 20 to 30 kph. Also seems as if the engine is very loud. Is there anyway i can lower the rpms while riding at these speeds. It just seems like the engine is working way to hard at low cruising speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A question: I found this video because I need to learn more about ATV engines. My problem is that I would like a much more "spongy" engagement of the throttle. On my 850 XC it's really hard to drive very slow and precise. What mods would you recommend then? A harder spring on the primary so it does not close as fast, hence slipping more in the start?

On the primary, you mention the washers and to not throw them away. What do they do? My situation is that something was clanging under warranty, so I took it in to the dealer. They fixed the clanging, but now it has a severe lag in engaging on takeoff, and the compression braking engages way too early. Is it possible that the dealer left those washers out and that's causing this problem? It is now out of warranty.

Just a heads up. I installed the clutch kits in a 2021 600 touring and a 2021 800xc yesterday. Both machines needed an 18 , 32 and a 35 mm socket. Not a 30. I don't want anyone to have to go out and buy the proper socket in the middle of the job like I did.

B1 to b2 is not much of a difference. You need to try C2 or B3.. both of those are close to the same tension. And you need to order the kit from Main Street Cycle. It will have a stiffer primary spring and different weights for the primary

Real Talk Powersports. Yeah it’s really odd. Because I watch your videos and it looks so easy. Then I go try and it won’t even budge lol. The primary is the one closest to the front right ? And to loosen it you turn it right
