    Hey Blake I got a question for you. I’m loving the look of the cf motos and your channel is a big part of that. I’m trying to get a bike for trail riding but also mud riding. I’m stuck between the outlander 570 XMR and the cforce 600. My question is do you think the 600 has got enough power to make a good mud build? I’ve seen the videos with your 800 mud build and it looked awesome. Just worried about not being able to get through the sloppy stuff. Price difference is about 2k and I would much rather save! Any help would be appreciated man thank you

  • @RealTalkPowersports

    @RealTalkPowersports

    3 жыл бұрын

    Well to be honest the power on the 570 XMR is noticeably stronger than the cforce 600. With that being said, you save so so much by going with the cforce 600 and customizing it yourself and making it unique just the way you want it. I had our first 600 on 28 inch system 3 xm310s and a clutch kit and it did great.

    I notice that bearing on the right sheave has a noticeable gap with the sheave, but the one on the left does not. Reclocked my secondary few days back and noticed the gap. Feel a bit worried for the belt lifetime, because it already has some wear marks on the inside due to the cap between bearing and the sheave, right where the edge of the bearing runs. Been doing some research, bearings on the 500 and 1000 does not have the gap, but the 600 does (mine is also a 2022 600). Also it's keeping my secondary under tension, not spinning but just tension, making it hard to shift from gear to gear. Is there any way to change that gap or what's the story/meaning behind that. To me personally it seems that eventually edge of that bearing will ruin my belt.

    It would no longer be a complete balanced unit. But they sell them as individual pieces and send dealers individual balanced pieces. I'd have to take a look at the design of my clutches. My CForce has older clutches that are an actual CFMoto design. it would be cool if I could upgrade them with the CV-Tech clutches but I wouldn't hold my breath. The engines of the newer CForce's probably have a different shaft design.

    @@RealTalkPowersports It's a 2014. From what I can tell it was their model they sold for a while over in Europe before coming to the states. It was known as the X5 over there I believe. It's a nice bike but compared to their newer machines the fit & finish is a bit crude in places and is much less user-friendly as far as maintenance goes compared to the new machines. Lots of bolts, lots of push-pins holding panels on, and takes a screw on oil filter. Though I see they still used the same 4x4/dif-lock setup as mine on their 2020 models. Because I only knew about them through YT videos from European riders. I told him about them and then he started looking up videos for them. Then the local Yamaha dealer started selling them and here we are. He went from the CF Moto to a Polaris Sportsman 570 and then I acquired it from him. It's slowly been getting some tlc. I need to order a fuel pump to get it ready for the summer. And possibly some new tires, the stock ones are starting to get down on the tread. From drilled part it seems outer and inner are not balanced. Only balancing is done on outer inner part - it has drill holes. I think when changing parts need to balance all unit and drill inner of outer part where drill holes are seen. But then, weigths do move unbalanced and who does offer balancing service for these? I know some balance long shafts on mowers and drums on combines without taking off from machine. They come to machine and do it in place. Have not seen it done and haven't more info. Probably any electric motor balancing company will do these cvt as long as you provide right fit shaft to put cvt on. Maybe cut old crankshaft end?

    I dont believe all that would be that necessary. Out of all the 4x4 racing teams and people that mud race and GNCC race with CVT driven machines, they do a lot of modifications to clutches without perfectly balancing them with each modification. Things would have to get way out of wack and out of balance to cause enough vibration to actually cause some extra wear over time.
