i really believe out of all the cab rides i have been on so far and all the drivers i have met so far he is the one that if i asked anything to and i mean anything he would of told me the truth and been willing to answer it. i did one whole other part to this cab ride that i did not film due to him wanting to just get to talk to me and point out some safety features first so i missed one big part out but i got to film the main of the line so i am happy. he was the nicest driver ever. out of all the cab rides i am glad that it was this line i got this treatment on as its my favorite line the Central Line and also my favorite stock of trains the 1992 stock

I like it how before Bank station there are a lot of curves on the track that slowly seem to get bigger, curve by curve before coming out into the station which has a massive curve, leaving a bigger gap than usual between the train and the platform edge. Just like embankment station.

It is I remember about quite about 7-9 years ago for a while when I was about 5 - 8 I used to have appointments at Moorfields Eye Hospital in Old Street and I used to go up there on a day off school, with my mum and we used to take the tube and change from the Central line to the Northern line at Bank. I also remember on the eastbound platform there used to be an announcement of a woman who used to say "mind the gap" on the platform. Nowadays a different recording is used. I wonder what happened to her recording and if it is still used somewhere on London Underground. Anyway, this was how my love for the tube began

Is it hard to learn to drive a tube train, because I’m thinking of changing my career, wow, this tube line is my old line, I was born in Walthamstow 1983, moved to Leyton in May 1984, I’ve travelling on the central line since 1984 when I was baby and I got used to the Central line than Victoria line, I left Walthamstow very early when I was young, but I got used to Central line, but now I find it boring now, It feels like it’s slow, because of the journey, but now I got my own flat in Custom house and use the Jubliee line via Canning Town, but I’ve travelling on the tube for 35 years, I would go to west end, South West, North London and other part of London a lot in the 80’s, I know the those areas more than the opposite direction, but now I’ve seen this video, it’s good

On earlier tube maps when the line was being extended up to West Ruislip, there was originally plans to extend the line two stops up to Denham Station, however due to the War this was cut back to West Ruislip, the through route at the end may be a relic of the cancelled plans I assume.

I think NYC (Native here) trains are limited to 45 MPH. I do not know about LA but I know Washington D.C. trains can hit 90 on the surface tracks. Back in 1980 I was able to see the controls and they had three readouts: white was the actual speed, green was the recommended set speed and red was "danger", I assumed (derailment above that speed?). The Red line in Maryland going to Shady Grove had all three at 90. 50-55 was top for underground. The Chicago Els would be good competition for these trains. I used www.urbanrail.net/ to follow this train along its route: they have ALL the lines in the world presently running.
