The 1995 and 96 are faster (by top speed along acceleration) and the 2009 have better acceleration but 12 miles slower.

Some Central line stations are very narrow. In some stations I used to get a funny feeling like sandwiched between trains and lack of personal space.

Lovely stations on the central line - Ealing Broadway, East Acton, White City and others. Used it everyday between North Acton and Bank in 2007.

Went back to London a week ago (hotel in Stratford),it was amazing to see all the places and travelling with the Tube once again

Central Line rocks, and has top drivers at West Ruislip, WC, Leytonstone, Hai, Loughton, Top footage well done, passengers moan to much about services on all tube lines, staff deserve every penny all so skilled. Rob Safehands Milton Keynes

I love how when the train leaves Notting Hill Gate everyone bumps into each other and you hear the typical Londoner oh or doh like their saying sorry there the train does start with a jerk doesn't it (insert what what if you want)

I'm surprised how far the central line goes outside of London it's crazy beyond the m25 motorway!! I don't think I will ever do this Line

I remember travelling on the central line between Notting Hill Gate and Oxford Circus, and the train ran on uneven intervals, so the train slowed down because of another train ahead.

I've done this journey a lot.♥️

@@beastyjack2098 actually it’s not 1992 stock (Central Line) travels up to 53 mph (designed up to 62) 2009 stock (Victoria Line) is only 50 mph

One of my memories from London is leaving the train at Chancery Lane, or maybe St. Paul’s. Then watching it leave, and hearing that HORRible noise. I also have many other memories from this line on this trip such as being nearly separated from family, but good memories, such as those times when the District line with Air Conditioning was an option. I will remember that trip because of seeing things like the Big Ben, and other cool things, such as Stonehenge.

If it helps, it was a stop on a tour we went on. The rest of our trip was basically all by train.

I live in Newbury park so this is my local line too

I like how the video is repectful of the passengers and the camera is not pointed towards them.

Did anybody notice how at the start of the journey one train's doors closed and one train's doors opened at the same time?

The Central Line only came out of the tunnel at Stratford as it was on surface level but went straight back underground after leaving Stratford.

The central line is my favourite

Where the ride starts at 5:10 - 7:27 and 1:12:36 to end he is the only one on the carriage.

Nice journey

I find the central line to be creepy with horrifying noises straight from a horror movie.. I love it.

All deep level tube trains are like that, if you go on the tube between Stratford and Westminster, you can hear a very loud scratch sounds of the rails.

Why do these trains start with a jerk sometimes. Especially at Queenway station. I love how they now make that roaring sound on certain parts of the line. So ear pleasing

when the tunnel tightens its ama huge air pocket slamming the doors in , but because air still needs to escape it makes that noise

Thanks a lot!!! The tracks beyond Epping: the left track is to the siding and on the right is the former single track to Ongar (closed in 1994). How I wonder it would be extended back again with a new station called Coopersale and to North Weald and Ongar.

Leytonstone or south woodford seem the cut off point for busy carriages after that its quiet old Essex to epping

I like the central line because it’s colour is red and red is my favourite colour 🛑

I pretty much only take the central line to go to airports
