My last dive adventure in Mexico. Personally I think I have left the best till last.
The Yucatan Peninsula is home to some of the most breathtaking cenotes, and Cenote Chikin Ha is no exception. Located near Playa del Carmen, this magnificent natural wonder offers visitors the opportunity to explore an underwater paradise.
Cenote Chikin Ha is situated approximately 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) southwest of Playa del Carmen, in the heart of Mexico’s Riviera Maya. To reach the cenote, visitors can rent a car, take a taxi, or join an organized tour. The cenote is easily accessible via 307 Highway which connects Playa del Carmen to Tulum, making it a popular stop for travelers exploring the region’s numerous attractions.
In the Mayan language, “Chikin Ha” means “Small Western Water.” The name reflects the cenote’s location.

I was able to dive Dos Ojos it was amazing as well, the huge caverns and out side light coming in. My mind blown!!

I was also blown away with this cenote.i have seen videos but diving them myself was an amazing experience. I hope i will get another chance to dive one again some time .
This may be a silly question, but why not use the butterfly kick while diving away from the walls and bottoms? If you are in the middle of the cave and there’s no silt anywhere around, why not butterfly kick then?

One I have never done a butterfly kick . Plus I am use too my Apeks RK3 Diving Fins. The fins were very flexible and light . Not much time to get use to them like when I have to use my BCD for buoyancy instead of my drysuit. I tried a frog kick but again the fins just didn’t feel right . Thats my excuse 😂
