I flipped thru my phone, and some of the music [it will not surprise you to learn I had dl'ed without paying for] came with album covers, and I chose this one. I almost chose Dirt by AIC, which would have made sense being as I live in Seattle and I was a 90s teen, but the cover _kinda_ shows a naked boob, so...

I have Breath of the Wild on the Wii U and I played it on Cemu. It definitely runs so much better there. Mario Kart 8 also plays very well. Of course the game will studder at first because it's compiling the shaders but it doesn't take long. Well, on my PC anyway

I have the same problem as you. I have a modded Wii U and I downloaded the games, Updates and DLCs using Wii U USB Helper 7 years ago. Now I am trying to use those old (.app and .h3 files) (non Meta) with Cemu. The games (.app and .h3 files) will show up and run. but I cannot install the (.app and .h3 files) Updates and DLCs because it does not have the Meta folder.

For when I tried to connect the controller there was an option for api but not controller can some help me I will respond

At controller setup don't forget that Nintendo and Microsoft swap the A-B and X-Y button locations. You want to configure it like the WiiU so when it asks for the A button you're going to want to button on the far right (That is B on any Xbox controller or O on a PlayStation controller). If using a Switch pro or WiiU pro controller you can just match everything 1:1 as they configured like a WiiU. The X & Y buttons will also have to be swapped. When saving your controller configuration label as the controller type (example Xbox1) that way you'll always be sure to have the correct buttons match their correct placement. Very informative video.

TIP: You dont need 7zip specifically, You can allso use winrar and many other functional Zip archive software, Its just what you prefer.

i give up man. i tried to fallow your vid but the emulator was not working like it does for you in the vid i had all kinds of strange things happen. when i clicked on download graphics pack all the text was squashed togeather and showed me a list never asked me to look at them. then i had a yellow graphics warning when i went to imput comes out it never downloaded the graphics pack and when i try says there is none. all the text in the menu is cut in half and i could not get any keys to work with any game >.> i think ceum hates my pc

you don't need 7-zip, you can just click on extract all for anything you want to extract (even .7z files)

Twilight princess would be so goated to play on an emulator. That sucks that it crashes like that. I'm no expert, but what I would recommend is that you join a discord that specialises in wii u emulation and then ask in the questions section why that is happening. Hopefully there will be someone there with the expertise to tell you why its not working.

no explination on how to get motion controls to work. i remember long time ago i used to follow BSODgamer and you had to use CEMU Hook but it seems like this is dead now and no longer needed..yet I cant for the life of me get cemu to detect motion controles anymore because under settings where it says " use motion controles"the check box option is grayed out. ..im using a DS4 and using ds4 windows . dose anyone no how to fix this.

You do not need 7zip to extract the file since it is a Zip file a 7zip file is a blank icon

Yeah, but 7-zip is a necessity for other emulation. I literally just used it to unzip a PS3 game for RPCS3

You would do it the same way you save on a regular Wii U. In the game itself!

What file format are your games in?

I'm just so disappointed that this CEMU emulator is no longer having any active support or updates. I haven't gotten any updates on it in the last 2 years. And it's not like the game compatibility is anywhere as high as PCSX2 or Dolphin (>95% playable games). But I do wonder how demanding are games like ZBOTW, Hyrule Warriors, or the Ninja Gaiden series. I already enjoy games like Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, etc. But I guess these aren't very demanding.
