The Bible mentions race but not in the way American culture does. This whole comment section is very telling. A person’s race is some how threatening and not embraced? That is very interesting and doesn’t sound Christian at all.

.... To me, though I understand it, his answer is a joke. As a black man raised by parents who love God, I was taught that I am to be christian/kingdom first, not black or anything else. But, from experience, you can certainly be a christian first and still recognize significant black accomplishment. We are in 2024 and still seeing black "firsts". That's not nothing.... definitely not everything by any means, but it's not nothing. If anything, instead of diminishing the history, and for many current experience, recognize the moment but also recognize the role your faith has played as well. Yeah that is great, but what is also great is that I am a christian man in this position... etc.

In Boston as Bill Russell how he was treating by fans . And lots of them were Christian
