It'll never be allowed to go away, it's a good tool to use to keep the people divided and focused on each other so we don't notice what our 'leaders' are actually doing to us and our country while we aren't looking.

This reminds me of what Ron Simmons said at a pro wrestling convention I went to a few weeks ago, which made my respect for him go through the roof. The panel host introduced him as “the first African-American world champion”, and Ron corrected him “BLACK. First BLACK world champion.” Then when an audience member asked him “As a black man in the 80’s-90’s, what did it take to succeed?” and Ron answered “Same things it took for a white man. Work hard, be on time, be honest.” He wasn’t having any of that politically correct race-baiting BS.

Tony Dungy gave an equally impressive answer when he was asked how it felt to be the first black coach to win a Super Bowl. He said he would rather be remembered as a Christian coach who did things the right way.
