There's 2 different versions of this song...the Elton John (pop version) and the movie/broadway version. Halle was singing Elton John's first verse and then the movie/broadway version in the second. Loved the reaction btw!

@@YonceMimi So I guess vocal coach Stevie Mackey is wrong when he states at the end of her song regarding her falsetto at the end... hmmm.. take a listen starting at 6:00, you will hear him talking about her going to her falsetto AND AT 6:42, he says she ends it (the song) falsetto!! I DO believe Stevie knows what he is talking about...

Ughhhh. There’s just something about Halle Bailey that oozes hope and love. If Disney was a vocabulary word, that’s what I would describe her as. There’s just a hopefulness and gracefulness to the way she stares, smiles, and sings. She’s literally a real life Disney princess. Hands down the perfect option for Ariel. A lot of people will be eating up their words once that movie comes out and we experience Part of Your World for the first time again.

Definitely agree. Shes always been my favorite of the two. I think more can be done with Halles voice than chloes but i do think they are equally talented. It used to annoy me when they would do covers and people would say stupid shit like Halles voice is more for jazz and i was like wow how simple minded yall are. She has so much range that can fit almost everything. Love to see her with Disney.

@Bunnie yeah I don’t agree with that at all I think both voices are extremely versatile Chloe’s head voice especially is limitless and her range is astronomical not many singers have that when Halle said “y’all haven’t seen what Chloe can do with her voice” I believe her she’s held back a lot and is just now showing off her range after all these years

She’s the sweetest! She actually helped me out when someone spilled a drink on me, after she just finished performing. She was 16 at the time. She was an amazing performer then but she is perfecting her craft. I’m so proud of her, she’s grown so much in the last 5 years.

Every time I hear Halle Bailey sing I want to cry! Her voice is otherworldly to me! Truly, an angel singing on earth!

What’s dope is… Beyoncé’s entry into the industry shifted the focus from being on just vocalist… . think of Whitney, Mariah, and Debrah Cox etc to the vocalist+dancer+producer. Now her mentoring is bringing the vocalist back. She literally has Chloe, the triple threat and Halle, who could move when needed…. However, she’s fit in that vacant Mariah/ Whitney lane = a mainstream, household named vocalist. Exciting times 🤌🏾✨

Beyoncé is arguably one of the most technically brilliant vocalists in contemporary music, and there’s a reason why she has set the blueprint for vocals especially in a live environment. That’s also why there countless videos of vocal coaches around the world reacting to vocal performances from work spanning her entire career, and why cross-genre vocal gods such as Botticelli, Streisand and La Belle have praised her vocal prowess.
