They didn't just bring up the volume, they brought out the big emotions, despair, fear, hopelessness, those that people are usually too reserved to express. That's what made it authentic. Probably the most real sounding cover of the song.

@@lorikodama8212 I receive that. Also with that, I believe that Kelly developed an ear to recognize the talent along with sensing a bit of the character in the person/people. DC definitely exposed all of them to a lot, and Kelly seems to have landed on a position to shine in 🤷🏾‍♀️. Because yes, she's very influential with her critiques as well.

In my opinion, Kelly really understood her voice color and picked out songs that really fit her voice, and through she shone even more! Whereas with the song Guy gave to her (umbrella by Rihanna), it definitely wasn't bad but didn't showcase her voice to its best potential.

I remembered one of the judges said that they usually let those who are so good go because there's nothing more that they can teach them. Technique wise and talent wise they have it all and so they just needed to be signed up. So the judges often chose those who are good but lacks the finnesse and technique so they can teach them to grow throughout their journey. Kinda like cassedy pope

Being on the show is a huge opportunity in itself; the same thing happened to Jennifer Hudson on American Idol and she became successful beyond her wildest dreams and is an EGOT winner, which is no easy feat. Lara already got a recording deal with Sony and she's just getting started; she's going to do just fine.

Kelly is a MONSTER the way she hones the talent of Lara as well as all her mentees. From a shy girl who is afraid to open her mouth, to a beast who growls with a beautiful melody to one's ears. Kudos Kelly! You are by far the best coach in any The Voice show all over the world. I love you so much, Kelly! Your COMMANDER is one of my favorites. 😍😍😍

The fact that Lara doesn’t scream at the top of her lungs is part of what I loved about her singing. Too many “keep it at ten” singers. Nuance, people. What a sweet and super talented young woman. Keep singing, Lara! You got this!

Kelly has such an eye and an ear. She literally brought Lara’s voice and personality out even more and then these idiots voted her off. 🙄🙄🙄 that was so upsetting. I hope she kept singing and growing her voice!

Kelly brought the most out of Lara, her tone as well her style changed from bubblegum pop to more contemporary mature sound!!

Lara developed at an astronomical rate. Kelly brought out the absolute best in Lara and has definitely been my favorite coach. I love that she pushed her out of her shell and showed Lara exactly what she could do. It is so difficult to get out of habit and Lara just grew wings and flew. ✨

Lara to me has that certain quality in her voice that I want to hear on the airwaves. It's a joy to listen to and is to me much better than most professional singers I currently hear being played. This girl has the talent and I predict before she reaches 20 years of age we will be listening to her being played on many radio stations. Wish I could sign her to a contract right now because it's only a matter of time before she will shine bright like a diamond.

I am shocked to see that Lara was voted off the show. She has a beautiful voice and her personality is amazing. 💔

As a man who has traveled the world it means a Natural beauty that is in a class of its own or her own... exotic is to me similar to classic beauty but far far more and subtle, and again natural. Without puffs, and pillows, and makeup and implants and very little makeup. Usually a golden tan natural color too so I think more often than not it is "Indian" like but not necessarily from India. When I was in Fiji the women there have their hair naturally like in the 70 here in the US and many are just "exotic" in their natural beauty. No makeup at all.. stunning.. jaw dropping real actual original natural beauty, strong and yet un-braggadocios, non show off or diva BS, not better nor less than any other because that crap does not even enter their mind so their body language never shows it. I think Lioness, strong, proud but not arrogant, steady and assertive without asserting, and the energy you feel a mile away.. at least I do.. Island beauty, grace, athletic, graceful, animalistic if you will but not base or ego driven... just NATURAL amazing beauty, alluring, exquisite. Think of a panther.. all black with green eyes... unusual, amazing, unique.. exotic. This young lady has some of it.. not all but some. Whoever thinks it is an insult must be from the jealous and victims generation and never been to any islands and seen people in their natural habitat. It is the runner ups that are the winners in these, as the winners are bound to tv contracts. The runner ups get the freedom of joining producers.

How on earth she didn’t have a longer journey on the voice is beyond me, she has an amazing voice, it’s solely her, her tone is unmatched and that’s what makes it so unique and refreshing ! She should’ve won in my opinion, if not there, the Voice U.S.

i love her voice but she sang in cursive for the first couple auditions, her voice is incredibly powerful though and once she passed that it was absolutely perfect

@@kattiek3570 it's really not, or she would've continued to sing like that after she had more direction and coaching, but she didn't. People think singing 'in cursive' makes them sound more seasoned and jazzier, but it's almost always younger less seasoned singers attempting it. She learned quickly and picked up direction really well from her coach, that's all. She improved, alot, really quickly, at a really young age. It's commendable, it's not... Just her accent lmao, or every Aussie would sound like that when singing xD

I agree. I hate when people don't sing in their own accents or pronounce words in a ridiculous way when they sing. Just be true to yourself. Not everyone wants to hear everyone sing in an American accent either. It's boring! She des have an amazing voice though. She just needs to be herself and not an impression of her influences.

I still didnt understand why judges didnt turn for her last time i mean come on her voice soo amazing and wow she got styles, the way she dress and styles her hair is perfect for each song , it really suits with it and omg 23:40 this one she really nailed it❤️❤️

Zeke showed artistry a bit more artistry. Kelly was on a mission with Lara. Bible loving right there. Lara is on her way. Go girl. Keep going!

There is a lane for her when she discovers her own artistry and musicality. She will be a beast of a singer when she is in her twenties and she finds a way to go from sounding and looking good to that emotional connection. Looking forward to hearing that even more. Definitely one to watch if given another opportunity.

Kelly Rowland, I don't think she has any music high on the charts rn, she is still a famous person. Her (Melanie) CryBaby Album and K-12 are still my top favorites. Melanie is Famous.

I cannot believe only one turned. This young lady is SO talented! Even the first time she was magical! There is something wrong with the judges.

It’s emotions, you can sing woo hoo, now sang. What makes a good artist isn’t just singing it’s the emotions behind it.

All the Stars was freaking perfect. Loved her emotion with the rap ♡ this song always makes me think of Chadwick ♡

She is soooooo beautiful, talented, unique!!!! 😭

I know for a fact that she would had went way farther on the voice in America. She has such a unique voice. There was absolutely nothing wrong with her last performance.

Even the rap part in "all the stars" sounded sooo good. She is really talented.

Lara little sister is definitely her hype man, her big cheerleader, her overall support system ❤️ and idol Kelly Rolland is her mentorship and inspiration. Superb combination 🥰. lara is just so adorable her voice is so astonishing and strong i was so sad in the end

She always had the voice; She struggled with stage presence. She locks in on the vocals, but does not engage the crowd. She gives me a more reserved artist...in a world where everyone wants big personalities. Hers is subtle.

I don't think I've ever seen the coaches more shocked than when they announced that Lara didn't get enough votes 😳
