They play off each other SO well. The backstory: they were both working late @ SNL offices across hall from each other; Ferrell was working on celebrity jeopardy and Hammond on Connery. Hammond decided to just horse around and shout insults at Trebeck as Connery- thus this brilliant duo was born🤣

That was back when SNL was funny. One of the best repeat skits they ever had.

The Sean Connery guy is a genius. Almost everyone of his comments causes me to laugh out loud!

One of the funniest and most nonsensical celebrity jeopardys. Amy Poehler shoving that dog in Will’s face is hilarious and I nearly died at bleeble blabble

They reaired the 12/7/96 episode with the first sketch. After it ended, they spliced in a clip of the last 2002 sketch (with Trebek's cameo), and had a Jeopardy! clue in his honor. Unfortunately, the 2020 show on Saturday was a rerun of the season premiere.

Of all the actors in this sketch, the award for best actor has to go to the dog who played Minnie. That dog put up with a lot.
