Manny's was honored to welcome Human Rights Campaign's President, Kelley Robinson for an intimate conversation about her vision for HRC and her life's work as an organizer and activist.
For over 40 years, the Human Rights Campaign has led the way in the fight for equality and liberation for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people around the country. HRC has been at the forefront of historic drive for marriage equality and federal hate crimes legislation.
HRC made history again with the appointment of Kelley Robinson as President. She is the organization's ninth president and the first Black, queer woman to take the helm. Robinson joined HRC after serving as Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
Robinson has said that the Human Rights Campaign's next chapter is about "getting to equality and liberation for all. Period, and without exception." She is commited to building a world "where every LGBTQ+ person can be healthy, safe, celebrated and joyful in every area of [their] lives."
