I don’t think there are any arms left in the pen after these last two. Hopefully, Irvin can keep his pitch count down and go at least 6 tomorrow.

I don’t live in NYC anymore but did from like 2012-2019. All abysmal Os teams but I’ve remained loyal. The atmosphere was smug then & was twice as bad when I went to a game “undercover” AKA I was the dude wearing Orioles shit at a Yankees-Red Sox game. It was like bratty teenagers of all shapes & sizes & ages & it had like jealous cousin vibes.

The Bradish news is terrible but at least we have a resolution it seems like we’ve just been delaying the inevitable with him at least now let’s get it over with and hopefully we have him for a potential playoff push next year

Povich just needs to trust his pitch and attack the zone, discipline his command, he has potential to be a extremely crafty lefty and he will grow and get better. Just really needs to clean up the walks. Can’t give dangerous teams so many chances we got lucky here

As much as I hate it, your explanation regarding Stowers makes sense, and I (obviously have to) accept it. What I don't accept is Stowers' absolutely abysmal playing time. If there is no reward in terms of playing time for a high batting average, hitting home runs, multiple RBI games, and coming through in the clutch, what is there for Stowers to hope for? Another player's injury?! I don't know how these things work, but will this hopefully short-term demotion count against him in terms of options? Also, why are you so sure Stowers can't play center field? He acquitted himself well defensively when he was here. Maybe center field is in his skills set, too.

😮 First, anyone who has stood at the plate and actually been at bat 🙋‍♂️ knows if you stand with your feet on the inside line of the batters box and crowd the zone like Aaron Jughead you wind up with your hands and arms over the inside part of the plate it’s a deliberate batting strategy to try and push the pitcher to the outside or daring them to be pin point accurate on the inside…the risk is you can get hit. Batters like AJ know this. They hate it when it happens but that’s the risk. Only idiots want to get hit or enjoy seeing ball players get hit. True fans and professional players gasp when it happens. The “justice” comes when you can turn that mistake into a run just like AJ did Tuesday and Gunny did Wednesday. Like you said teams in a close contentious playoff situation would be stupid to give up a free runner knowing the next batter has the capability of making you eat such a stupid mistake. We lost Westburg and they lost Judge. Second, I do think that regardless if a pitch comes at a batters head whether making contact or not they should get the walk AND the pitcher should be removed from the game. The pitcher should be held accountable for such a horrible mistake at this level of play. Additionally, I think it would be interesting to add a similar “team” foul penalty like in basketball. Two HBP and the pitcher is removed. After two or three team HPB a run or an extra base is awarded like a balk. It would be even interesting to put the pitcher in a “penalty” box for the next batter like hockey causing the team to be down one player and have to use a position player to pitch to one batter. And maybe like soccer after 3 team HBP infractions a player is ejected and the team has to play the remainder of the game down one position. These are just raw thoughts I know. Thirdly, if a player is hit, they should never be able to leave the base path or toss any equipment into fair territory or they forfeit their awarded base.

With Bradish gone and the O's hyper focused on the playoffs we should be hitting the phones hard right now for a starter, not just bullpen help. Give us your take on what you could see us giving up for a top tier starter from our wealth of talent in the minors or not give up for an average starter that maybe just needs a change of scenery or is a short term rental. Thoughts on Skubal, Crochet, Severino, Luzardo?

How do you truly feel about a ring this season? That bradish injury has me a bit checked out. Yeah they’re still good and fun to watch but realistically do you think they can really wing a ring? Is that the goal? Because while the stats are solid I don’t trust the pitching staff outside cano, Perez, and definitely not the rotation. Burnes is the only one I trust. Rodriguez still has to rewrite the story. He’s young but doesn’t have much experience in postseason but he has gotten better. Outside those two they lack experience and I don’t see this holding up in postseason. Just me though. Kimbrel can’t be the guy in October. He’s streaky but I don’t trust it. Should they be aggressive for a starter and bullpen arm? These injuries in mlb are insane. The pitch clock is screwing over everyone not just orioles.

Once again. The orioles leave more players on base then they score runs. They need to make a trade for somebody licking hit a knock in Runs. 😊 And find some. Body that hits the home run More than once every ten games. Seems like Gunner henderson hasn't Driving in a run in a month

The Orioles choked against the Astros. They were manhandled by a sub 500 team who was about to break up their team. Now they are back on track. Orioles lack the fire of a champion.
