Can’t get enough meta discussion for CEDH. I would love to see more information on the non US metas in the future.

Great idea! Discussing how the metas of different continents and areas are is fun.

Love this, even though I am not attending any tournaments. I learned so much about the cedh meta and how to answer the popular archetypes in just one episode.

from what i gathered out of this video, najeela would be a pretty great option as it can turbo nuas but also has relatively fast creature based wincons.

Great insight as always. I've been running a TevIshai Humility variant that's been hyper focused on landing and keeping Humility on the board and its been absolutely disgusting against midrange decks. Would be my personal choice for the first one. The turboish metas, im with you, though i prefer Inalla over RogSilas. Both great options though with the same goal, go brrrrrr. However, a DOCTOR convinced me recently, to look into a deck he's been playing. Its absolutely the deck i would bring to those turbo heavy events if i wanted to play stax. Hopefully, those events have...CATERERS, if ye catch mah drift. Think if i wanted to be a one deck Andy for every tournament, Najeela, Temur / Grixis Pirates or Kinnan would be my pick.

Best decks to use are usually creature combo decks and decks the average player will misplay against. I've got my top 4 and top 8 with thrasios kraum by doing stuff like neoing Kraum and players forgetting that Deadeye Navigator is a card that exists. It's crazy what mid-average players let resolve.

I am in a small isolated meta of around 12-16 players, so I don't really know how well my experience translates. Anyhow, I think any Malcolm + X that runs Buccaneer is a good pick (Tana, Vial Smasher, Bruse). To me it seems like cEDH is currently not prepared well to stop a 1 card creature based combo. I personally prefer the Grixis build. Tana -> most consistent Grixis -> most versatile Jesaki -> most defensive to make sure the combo goes actually off.

@@ComedIanMTG Hell yeah! I love the randomness of getting to play four decks in CEDH. I have been testing a thrasios/Seedborn muse shell in it recently with Seasons loops. Do you think there is anything to that or is Dawnwaker just the overall superior choice because you get to add white and the obvious CMC out of Command Zone for Neoform/Evolution

Would Tymna/Tana MetaPod would be a good deck for a general meta that slightly leans towards control?

Hey I absolutely love this video and it could not have come at a more perfect time. I love in a small area and the yearly commander tourney is coming up late August with around 40ish people. I got top 8 last year with budget-ish blue farm list but I’m really nervous for the upcoming tournament. The meta is very midrange and, here comes the weird part, there are 1v1s and 15 card sideboards despite mine and other player’s protests. Do you think I should stick with my budget-ish blue farm, or go something like krark/saka? Thanks for the help and video I love the channel :)

I'd stick to the blue farm list personally. Especially in 1v1. Any removal really sets back krark saka and in 1v1 it's gonna be way more common

Would you consider blood Pod that's tuned for ad nauseum strategies (with Vivien + pod) to be too slow for the turbo metas you discussed? Yes it is looking to slow down the game, but It effectively has 2 x 1 card wincons now.

I personally wouldn't feel very comfortable with that approach but it's worth testing into faster pods

It's very explosive and strong. Definitely has pros and cons compared to the other Rograkh decks. I tend to prefer the added colors but tevesh in the CZ adds a lot of consistency

Can't say that specifically however there are a number of times in which the deck has come up during tournament breakdowns and I know I've thrown in thoughts. Tbh I don't often speak about it because it's quite boring to me :/ the archetype feels relatively stagnant and the gameplay is rather streamlined

more vids on how to grind cedh tournaments pls!!!! i like watching your vids because they arent gameplay vids, we get our own experiences through our own cedh gameplay. but i need those keys which i cant get through gameplay expereinces and this video provides this exactly. pls keep on doing this kind of content. gz Moryska#1234
