Cedar strip canoe camping and fishing Ontario crown land

An overnight camp with my canoe and hammock.
I apologize for the camera and wind noise, but decided not to use music to cover it. It was hot but the fishing was good and the mosquitoes only came at sun down. I usually camp in spring or fall when there are fewer people and bugs but I did enjoy this trip.

Thank you, appreciate you commenting. I try not to make them all the same, hard sometimes not to say and do the same old stuff.

Thanks again James. Your timing is impeccable. Rainy day here. Great video as usual. I could taste that Smallmouth all the way down here in Virginia.

Yes, this is great country, and up around Mattawa is beautiful. Nothing like the BC mountains though, been a while for me, hope to get out west again soon.

Another great video. It appears that there were few biting bugs on this trip in July.

During the day it was great, but as soon as the sun went down the mosquitoes came out in force. Thanks for watching.

Boo on the double blade! Just kidding - whatever keeps you out there. Great production, too - loved the shots at the end. Incidentally, I'd been thinking about a stripper for years, but your Whitefish Lake video gave me the push I needed. I built a Bob Special and a year later, a Freedom 17. Thanks for your continued inspirations. Maybe I'll take up water colour next.

Wow! You made two canoes. I know, using double paddles just doesn’t seem right, but I guess my knees will appreciate it.
