Big thanks to Defunctland for helping with this video. Check out Kevin's channel for more Amusement Park based content:
I've been to Cedar Point many times, and this is completely accurate. One time I was riding the Gemini, and a steel beam came loose and nearly tore my nose off (old coaster, it happens). Thankfully once the ride was over, a kind employee rushed over to me and reminded me not to bleed out in front of other guests. Safety first!
Thank you for spreading awareness about this. I hate it when people get away with eating ice cream without a license.
I am a former Cedar Point employee and I would like to know how you obtained this video? This breaks all safety protocol showing this to the general public and puts everyone at a disadvantage in the yearly off season war. Many people will now be buried in those blue and red rides uniforms, those yellow sweeperette uniforms, and those green and purple games uniforms!
“All rides have a height limit, but some, excluding your mother, have a girth limit.” Just brilliant!
this whole thing was hilarious, especially the reminder that time is a cruel mistress that will never cease to make us feel bad about the inevitable. and the defunctland feature! love 'em!
Being from Ohio, I gotta say cedar point is the only thing keeping us from just embracing the corn fields and disappearing off this plane of existence
As an Ohioan who has gone to Cedar Point at least once a year for my entire life, I support this video.
As someone who has had the displeasure of going to Cedar Point, I’m shocked that there wasn’t a segment of the training video about how to ignore, mistreat and talk down to customers trying to buy tickets at the front gate.
Somehow I didn’t anticipate Defunctland making a guest appearance in a theme park related video.
Huggbees is the type of guy able to use a “Yo momma” joke and still make it funny.
"TO KEEP OUR HANDYMEN ON THE PAYROLL, PRETEND TO FIND A PROBLEM ON THE RIDE YOU'RE ASSIGNED TO"
"All amusement parks are equal, but some amusement parks need Mark Rober to expose their scam games", Huggbees Cooders, 2022.
"Cleaning the park is a mandatory part of your duties, and it's important that our park stays clean so out ticket prices can stay high" sounded so much like a Roller Coaster Tycoon tutorial
With injured guests, remember ABC:
It's actually hilarious how close parts of this are to the original training video.

The handicap part is sadly still alive and well. I went to Six Flags Magic Mountain and they decided to smash their flashpass line and ADA line together so even though I'm going to a different line I have to ask people to let me by so I can get to it. That went about as well as you'd expect.
The 'pay attention to the kids' part is actually in the Disney manual.
