CEBU has the BEST NAVY in the GAME! Eu4 1.34 Cebu (Eu4 Underrated Nations)

Hello fellow conquerors! The Underrated Nation we look at today can be found in South-East Asia, specifically, in the Phillipines! The small one province minor of CEBU have insanely strong NAVAL BONUSES leading to them having the BEST NAVY in all of Eu4!
The goal of this video is to conquer all of Japan and Korea to reverse colonize the Japanese as payback for WW2.
As mentioned before, Cebu starts as a opm in the Phillipines. Their starting position can be very difficult, at the very least daunting for many players, as they are surrounded by nations with larger navies and alliance chains larger than the ones in WW1. However, CEBU recieves 20% Galley Combat Ability to start the game giving them a needed edge over all their rivals. Cebu then has 10% moral of armies, goods produced, yearly legitimacy, yearly naval tradition, monthly autonomy change, embargo efficiency/privateer efficiency, institution spread, dev cost, and finally, global trade power to complete their ideas!

Ternate needs some love man, owning cloves early game just ensures economic stability throughout the entirety of the game and the mission tree while lacking is pretty enjoyable in itself

As Trebizond instead of restoring Byzantium go east and restore the borders of the Seleucids (i think they dropped the claim to Byzantium and declared themselves the emperor of the Caucasus or smth like that after Nicea restored Byzantium so this is more “realistic”)

I'm Filipino and the way you pronounced Cebu gave me a chuckle. It's pronounced "Se-boo". Though I think I'll start calling it "Ke-boo" just to mess with my Cebuano friends. Great video by the way!

Raiding Ming as a pirate republic is the most satisfactory thing one could do in this game.
I'm doing a tall Cebu Pirate Republic Run. I converted to Islam with the school that gives Dev cost modifier. Stacking dev cost modifiers. I have only expanded to Taiwan, Hainan, Okinawa and Tsushima. All of my provinces have Naval Batteries so the Europeans won't touch me. Thankfully they changed the central Visayas mission so it includes Taytay now. For added cheese, I did marines only. It only takes my marines 3 days to embark and disembark. Coastal forts fall quickly and raiding Malacca, China, Korea and Japan is so good. It's probably the most fun I've ever had in EU4.

@@thechairmangames I really think we should add countries to a region depending on how much countries they are to play as or the play style you would go for . for example i think most of us when playing in the levant and or Persia would go for a super strong army because of lack of pips and existence of the ottobros . and i don't consider regions not geographil , thats why i don't consider the whole of Europe a region , but western europe as iberia lowlands and france regions , scandanacvia and Britain , holly roman empire and Italy , and eastern Europa , india could be grouped into one. otherwise very great video , and a great empire we got :) !
If you want a naval game, you should try Port royal, i had 40% heavy ship combat ability with 140 heavy ships at the end game, if you also invest in faster embarks you can always get away from militarys that try to attack your marines
