Bro I saw this 2 months ago and I never smoked a single cigarette after that day. The trick is to replace the urge with something like doing pushups. Now I have abs ;)

All of these ads miss the most deadly side effect: They've taught the doctors to ignore all else going on with their patients. Quite literally. Raging infection on my finger, undiagnosed, untreated, the doctor left it at "But you smoke." Long COVID, "But you smoke." Even a doctor I know socially, "I don't want to talk to you, if you still smoke." I wonder with these ads, if persons' disease is from the doctors ignoring let alone address their early symptoms with "But you smoke."

This is what smoking gets people to, sounding like Casey Jr. from Dumbo, with just as much smoke tied with the comparison of the little steam engine that could? Some life. 🚬😟🤢

The sad thing is, even when u have watched all these videos and had countless people come to ur school as a kid to show u what its like when the affects of smoking can do to u....its sad that addiction can be so powerful that not only do u loose ur voice..but u loose parts of urself that u wont ever get back. I struggled with addiction since highschool and being allmost 30, i might end up with throat cancer too.

There are many, MANY different reasons...some do it out of peer pressure, some use it as a stress reliever, some just want to seem cool...but none of these reasons, or any of the reasons I didn’t mention, are a good excuse to smoke.

I'm an ex smoker, thankfully - but I'll tell you why: smoking is incredibly enjoyable and fulfilling, in a way that can not be comprehended by a non-smoker.

Do you actually have any idea how hard it is to quit? Nicotine is an addictive chemical, that releases dopamine in the brain and helps relieve stress, it isn't as hard to quit as you think, I would know. My mom smoked after my siblings were born to cope with the stress after my dad dying, it took her about 50% of my life to quit, so it took about perhaps 6/12 years to quit. Now come back when you've actually learned something.

@@ash5939 And just a side note. Nicotine, compared with alcohol or caffeine, is known for its extremly addictive effects. It rates right down to heroin and cocaine. It accelerates the production of dopaminergic hormones. This is the reason for your temporary happiness you get from smoking. But, this "hype" cools down very quickly, and you will immediately want more and more cigarettes. That's how you get addicted.

I hate me look on the bright side, she sounds like the female actress who voiced Casey Jr. 🚂 (the little engine that could) so I think she could play the play the part as well. They both smoke do they not. Nah but seriously I understand how you feel the same way. And to think that back in the day smoking was hip and a new trend to move along with the times.
