CCCA Alopecia Hair Care: This is just a video showing all of the oils and butter I have used in my hair since my CCCA alopecia diagnosis. I create my oil hair oils and hair butter as well as for my skin. It's important that you do your research as what oil/butter works for me may not for you.

Things to note:
1. I am currently NOT on any medication to manage my CCCA
2. I have a MILD case of CCCA based on my biopsy, so my scalp and hair may not look like a typical person with CCCA
3. I decided to use all-natural products (DIY) on my scalp.
4. I have used oil but only on my hair and not on my scalp. Anything on my scalp for too long makes me have bad flare-ups.
5. For the new year, I am going to try different natural remedies to help cleanse my scalp and manage my CCCA.
Although dermatologists have suggested a treatment route for steroid shots, the side effects for me outweigh anything good that can possibly come from my hair loss.

yes my itching has subsided greatly because before it used to be completely sore, red, sometimes blood, sometimes i could see the white bulbs from my roots it was awful. So I am keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't come back

Those seem like really good combinations of oils. Have they been working for you? I couldn't tell from the pics if things were better from when you were diagnosed until now because I wasn't sure of the order of the pics. I've seen a little research about pumpkin seed and rosemary oil being effective for hair loss, but I haven't bought either of them because my scalp just doesn't like to be oiled. I may buy some pumpkin seed oil because I've learned that it is effective if taken orally as well. Also, I was thinking about using those two oils as maybe an oil treatment just before shampooing my hair. Maybe I can get some of the benefits without leaving it on my scalp for a long period of time. I'm taking the medicine to work on the systemic issue of CCCA being autoimmune, and using the topical steroid, but I know I need something to work on regrowth as well, and I don't want to use rogaine. I'm looking into taking turmeric but I want to do a little more research on it. My derm also told me about Nutrafol, Viviscal Pro, and LLLT but they are expensive.

yes I've heard good things about pumpkin seed as well, try it as a hot oil treatment like you said that way it's not sitting on your scalp for an extended period payment that works. I find most of the medications for alopecia are some what expensive so you definitely have to decide the treatment course you want to take.
