I can never watch this truck enough. You all did totally spoiled us with this one!!

Thank you Kenny for throwing this up there. I now have stumbled upon all of your videos though various suggestions of this truck. I'm so glad you guys were able to get it before it was gone. The Route King is my favorite looking RL and the CCC is my favorite normal chassis, and the DD is my favorite sounding engine. Thank you.

Excellent video! Enjoyed seeing your footage! The truck sounds pretty nice too. I also like those toters. It's an excellent cart choice. Great job!

I worked for a company(K&E solid waste Ontario Canada) that ran almost 2 dozen RK2's several pto drive IHC cargostars with 25 yard boxes several 25 yard boxes with ford LST 8000 all with side mount motors for running the wall/blade,3 25 yard boxes with side motors on Mack MC chassis,2 trucks with 32 yard boxes 1 mounted on a Mack MC chassis (once worked on this to a 21 ton load)the other was a 32 yard demo model(testing how to make 32 yd)done by amalgamated metals of missisauga ontario(canadian builder of dempster models) with a GMC Brigadier tractor and 32 yard trailer with frount mounted doinch motor to run blade and wall...we also had 2 ..20 yard RK2s with side motors(for wall and blade)and had winches for small dumpsters.. 32 YARD PACKERS WERE OUTLAWD IN ONTARIO LATE 90's BY MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT DUE TO BEING TOO LONG.. we also ran a few hiels on cargostars,2 shupak side loaders,2 yeger rearloaders(built in ontario) and 1 20 yard leach...(box was replaced with 20 yd RK2)... thanx for reading and thanks to the vidiogragher for rekindling 23 year old memorys...RK2's were the nicest packers i worked on... and had better ton ratios then any other packer me and a friend could pack 13 tons on a ford 8000 25yd and regularly put 19 tons on our mack 32 yd(b4 32 yard outlaw)

Thanks! It sure is! I think that was the only Ultra cart I got on film. Not many in the area we were in. Sadly I didnt come home with one.

Wow this thing blows a nice puff!!! Sure enjoyed hearing this truck blast through its route again. Sure like the color scheme of this truck as well. Definitely like the variety is this fleet too. Is this truck and the 310 the only two trucks you filmed in Portland?

It sure did! It sounded epic! I agree, the colors scheme is cool. I like it. I got footage this, the 310, and an ugly Leach FL. I think that's everything from what I remember.

I know for certain the engine is a DD 6L-71TA because of the immense turbo whistling, but I also think this rig uses an Allison HT740 automatic transmission.

never thought i would live to see a CCC powered by a DD were these powered by detroits or was this rig repowered?
