Here’s something to think about if you grew up with brothers and sisters like me- Just because they will make fun of you for silly things, that doesn’t mean they don’t love you. That’s how kids act when they’re young and immature and it’s a natural part of their development. I don’t believe Lincoln‘s sisters making fun of him is really all that much out of character.

You know, it's funny that you'd say this because I used to hate this episode mainly for this reason, like many Loud House fans. Not that they acted out of character, but the constant hashing at Lincoln for liking a comic book series, as well as accusing of doing something with lack of proof, made this episode feel like a Lincoln torture episode. But last year, I watched this episode with an open mind and realized it's not really that bad. Yeah, the sisters making fun of Lincoln was still annoying, but the mystery aspect was really entertaining, and it had a really interesting plot twist. While I don't consider this one of my favorites, despite the heartwarming ending; I will say I hate this a lot less than I originally did

I really like the ending in which Lincoln saves Lucy from embarrassment it shows the love between the siblings

Nice review, I really liked this episode mainly because of it being Ace Savvy Themed, but I do like the ending where Lucy gave Lincoln a new comic after she was sorry for him for missing the convention.

Yeah....this episode was pretty weak for me. Lincoln and Lucy's bonding during this episode was good with Lincoln taking the blame so Lucy won't get teased, but the rest of the Loud sisters were just.....mean, cruel, and just bullies to Lincoln. Great review though!

I understand why people may not think this is a great episode, but it’s the final few minutes that really grabbed my attention and I truly felt that moment between Lincoln and Lucy. I had more complaints with how the plot was laid out, but I do respect everyone’s opinions regardless of where we stand.

It even almost comes off like Lincoln is Chicken Little and Lincoln's family (except for Lucy, Lily, and Rita) are the townsfolk of where Chicken Little lives. On another note, this Season 1 Loud House episode would lead to Trustworthy (by former Loud House fan YoshiPlayer) where Lincoln runs away after being fed up of his family's daily antics towards him.

This is one of my favorite Luce's episodes. She has a normal side, feelings and a guilty taste (like a normal person) plus the episode shows us the relationship between Linc and Luce. Maybe his siblings was very rude, but I think it's normal. I'll love more episodes about Luce if they are like this. Maybe someday TLH will make my dream come true and create another episode between LJ and Luce ('cause I don't like Sapce Invader). Great review, dude

Taking the words right out of my mouth, dude. I mention a lot of this in my other reviews like “Hurl” and how the characters are not so one dimensional and that they have different layers that make up who they are. And when I view episodes from the perspective of my own childhood experiences, I don’t view a lot of the interactions between Lincoln and his sisters to be anything too unusual. It’s like you said, it’s rather normal but that’s just my take. I still respect all differing opinions. Thank you so much for enjoying.

I don't think that the Season 1 Loud House episode "Sleuth of Consequences" is the worst Loud House episode ever made since there are many worse Loud House episodes than this, including Kings of the Con, The Green House, Brawl in the Family, No Such Luck, House Flip, and The Sweet Spot, but I do agree that this Loud House episode is really cruel/mean spirited towards Lincoln.

I was never really a big fan of this episode, but I think it did have a good ending to it

That’s where it really counted the most, in my opinion.

I am very curious for your thoughts. While I do agree with others that the sisters were very mean in this one, by making fun of Lincoln for liking something he likes, and all blaming him for the toilet in this case as it wasn’t him, but the ending and Lincoln pairing with Lucy for this case was amazing and definitely makes up for the bad moments in my opinion.

Although my opinion on season 1 was kind of ehh, and the seasons going by forward were ok, but I really did like Lincoln taking the bullet for Lucy, nice review broski. ✊🙂👍

This is why I love your reviews. I also get criticism on KZread comments for taking this “too seriously” or whatever, but I don’t care. How we view this show is what makes it more special. It’s so relatable, that’s why we do these sort of comparisons or deep dives on episodes. Also despite the issues with this episode, like the sisters attitudes, I loved the ending with Lincoln and Lucy sharing a moment. Hope we get more episodes that focus on them two only. Great review homie, and never let anyone judge you for simply looking at the show the way you want to. 👍

Oh boy, I hope you guys are ready to hear what I have to say about this one. Point of reference I’m not going to do my inner thoughts on this one. So onto the episode. When this episode first came out I thought it was going to be like one of those Whodunnit stories where they have to find out who the culprit is. Turns out that this episode is one of those. I like the team up between Lincoln and Lucy trying to figure out who made the toilet overflow. Which lead us to a funny joke told at the beginning by Luan. I like her Sleeping Bull joke that was adorable. By the time we get to the end, it turns out that Lucy like to read Princess Pony. This is further evidence that it was Lincoln who made the toilet overflow. That was the most genuine twist I did not see coming. One thing I did want to point out is that I do agree with SteamTeam saying that this episode should’ve played out in two different contexts of what it’s trying to do, but it turns out that in the context that this episode is actually going for, not necessarily. Overall while I don’t think this is a bad episode as I was hoping it would be. I kinda wish it could’ve been played out a little bit better. But still I would give this a 5/10 like I said this episode isn’t bad, I just wish that it had a better story to tell. 🕵🏻‍♂️🚽

I agree with all of the good things you said. Lincoln and Lucy have such a sweet sibling bond that I wish we got more of that. However, as for the negatives, the sisters are complete jerks. I mean, first they make fun of him for no reason and then immediately blame him without proof. Also, even though those are flashbacks, it would be OOC for Lincoln since he is the responsible one (also, why on earth would he flush his dad’s karaoke cds?) Lori was also an extra jerk when she immediately blamed him first and wedgeid him, and Lola even more with her “I’M TELLING DAD!” quote and just yelling he did it when Lincoln was gonna do it himself. With your thoughts I now consider it low average, but I would want Lincoln to bring up this event to remind the sisters (except Lucy) what bad people they can be at times.

Well as I said in my pinned comment, siblings will make fun of each other for very silly reasons and I’ve seen this happen a lot in real life and in other works of media. As for blaming Lincoln, he has been caught clogging the toilet in the past so I can understand why they would be quick to point the finger at him.

Lincoln was treated so bad in the episode. Not one of the sister's best moments. The ending was good. Lincoln is a good brother for what he did for Lucy even though he won't get anything in return. The family shouldn't tease one another over someone's likes. It's mean. Lincoln doesn't do it and I bet the girls would have something to say if he done it to one of them. It's just a lot to say and think about how the family functions. That spooky comic book is ok? Mix feelings of this episode.

No matter the type of sibling relationship, u will still love each other no matter what. For example. I have a brother and we get on each others nerve but we still love each other

I hope Lucy reveals the truth someday and hopefully the Loud sisters wont tease her. And also the girls should apologize to Lincoln and wont tease him. Just a thought. We can hope.

This episode kinda really tell you how judgement and mean spirited the Loud sisters can be, and I only meant them not Lincoln.

I like this episode it's a good one although I don't get why people get really really mad at Lola in this one. Also I'm all caught up I subscribed and wracked the bell.

I get blamed quite a few times my younger brothers did when I was younger.

While I really love the ending with Lincoln standing up for Lucy and he's proud of being himself, it's kind of an odd episode that I have odd feelings for. I think it's kind of a meh episode.

Ending would have been a little better if Lucy told Dad in secret that it was her, or if Lucy repaid Lincoln's favour by telling the sisters off and then threatening to scare them for as long as they harassed Lincoln.

@@alphanalghali1081 Totally. They tell Lynn Sr and of course he apologizes to Lincoln for falsely accusing him and Lincoln gets it. At Lincoln offers to take the blame, Lynn Sr tells them to try not to go overboard with the teasing.

And for those of you that are wondering where I rank this episode. I rank it at the bottom tier of The Loud House Season 1.

I like the ending but I hate the rest of the sisters even leni is dislikeable and lola is such a devilish brat

Ok while I understand why this one would be hated by so many fans; I really don’t hate it that much. It’s still bad but the ending really did save being among the worst for me. Lincoln is unfairly and meanly targeted but one he has a history of clogging the toilet so naturally could be the first suspect in it. I don’t hate lucy in this, she was going confessed she clogged the toilet and its not really her fault that Lincoln is such a good brother and decided to take the fall. Also come one you got to think it’s really cute that she give Lincoln a homemade comic to make up for it. I don’t like the others siters in here for obvious reason as they were why to mean but that part for the course in the first season. I think it would have been better had lucy told the others what she did, and the sires feel horrible about making fun of Lincoln and go to apologize and say they will never make fun him for what he likes. However, Lincoln says that they are siblings and of course they going to make fun of each other for what they like and that fine they just have to know the limits. it’s Bad but I don’t think it would make my worst list or even be a dishonorable mention 4/10

On Movie Critic's video on wrost loud house episodes on sleuth or consequences he said it was lola who clogged the toilet. And another video on Movie Critic's video called the real toilet clogger he said lola's claim she said she didn't like pony's but she has a pony in her room if you see it and she blackmailed lisa to keep her mouth shut and told lisa to erase the footage of her

That’s actually a pretty good theory. Although I believe Lola just likes ponies in general and wouldn’t ever read something like Princess Pony, I do get what you’re saying. I’ll have to check that out and then compare it to the regular episode and see how well it can sync up.

I actually did not like the episode too much... the sistets came off as kinda mean spirited. I get the point, but... I dunno. They seemed kinda cold about it. Even Lori saying she will make fun of Lincoln only for the rest of his life. Lincoln should've gone to that convention. I like the team up with Lucy and Lincoln, but other than that... yeah. Good review though.

Well, that’s just how kids are. In fairness, do they ever bring up this Princess Pony debacle in future episodes? I doubt they really meant it when she said “for the rest of his life”. But still, I hope you enjoyed the video.

I think in my opinion the only thing that was good about this episode was lincoln and Lucy's relationship and I think it was heartwarming. But I don't like this episode very much. But overall I like your opinion on the episode and I get why fans hate this episode

Also if you search on Google sleuth or consequences my version it's created by Thomperfan it's at the top when you search it up it's way way better

i thought the episode was kind of funny and i thought it was funny when lincoln kicked the doors of lola and lucy's bedrooms and lynn sr. said stop kicking the doors and when lola commted how she would never read princess pony because she may like girly things such as princesses and unicorns she would never read it because its too sickeningly sweet even for someone who likes princesses and unicorns like her was funny

I respect your opinion but I hate this episode with a burning passion. Hate me if you want to but if I was Lincoln, I would snitched and said it was Lucy. Lucy is my least favorite character so I honestly don’t care. Also, I don’t like how the other sister were laughing at Lincoln when he took the balm for Lucy. They just came off as unlikeable. The overall rating of this episode for me is a 2/10

I hated it.
