Following Dante and Morpheus, who would you choose to have the next lead role in a future Morticians Club episode; Haiku, Persephone, or Boris? I don’t count Bertrand since he technically already had one in “The Loathe Boat”. Reply to this comment!

Either Haiku or Persephone! Since I’m very surprised that we haven’t had one with Haiku yet since she’s Lucy’s best friend. And I’m really like Persephone. She’s one of the better characters from the Morticians. And I think she’s the one who gets the least screen time compared to the others of the Morticians Club.

Haiku and Boris would be good since they’re the most fleshed out of Lucy’s friends along with Bertrand. But I’d say Persephone cause I think she’s the one friend of Lucy who doesn’t quite have much of a defined personality as the others now.

This is definitely the most random main character pairing we’ve had on the show so far. I thought the scenes with Morpheus chasing Rusty were more entertaining than any episode focusing on the Mortician’s club. And I do hope Amber becomes a recurring character, maybe her addition could help develop Rusty’s character more. Other than that, this episode was fine. 7/10

Considering how quick she was to leave him, I don’t think she’ll ever be back but crazier things have happened to background randos.

Although Rusty is not my favorite Loud House character, I have to say that seeing him tortured throughout Let's Break a Deal and the role of Morpheus in this episode were both pretty fun to watch. Especially with Morpheus and his voice actor Richard Steven Horvitz being the main highlights in this episode due to them both doing a great job on being creepy and scary, but humourous in this episode as Horvitz himself is also well known for playing scary, but humourous characters in various animated media. And I should definitely know this since I actually met Horvitz himself last year at the San Francisco Fan Expo. And not gonna lie, but despite the presence of Rusty in this episode, I'll still take Let's Break a Deal over A Dish Come True (its sister episode) any day in my life. Score: 9/10 🤝📜💇‍♂️

Although Morpheus got more screentime in this episode, just like Rusty's dad, this episode was still...decent enough, even though it feels like I was watching either a Billy & Mandy episode or a Johnny Bravo episode. It was mixed, but decent. Great review, bro. 😁

Rusty might have not been my favorite Loud House character, but hey, at least Let's Break a Deal was more tolerable to watch than A Dish Come True, if I believe correctly.

I said the same exact thing about this episode when I finished watching it. Don’t hate it, but don’t care about rewatching it afterwards either. While I like Morpheus and find him interesting, I also don’t care that much of Rusty, as I literally find him also annoying and sometimes cringe. While it had some cool moments especially with Morpheus messing with Rusty, this episode definitely felt flat, and I definitely don’t want to replay it either. The biggest missed opportunity tho was not mentioning Rocky, Rusty’s little brother, in any capacity, especially with Lucy being shown. Really wish they can bring him back one day, as I miss him so much. With that said, eh episode, but this was a good review homie. I truly hope you have a good one today.😊❤️

I've mostly come to terms with the series doing more friend group based episodes and some do work really well (especially for Leni, Luna and Lynn) but this type of thing just feels wrong. Giving Rusty and Morpheus the spotlight with no Lincoln in sight and Lucy only showing up briefly is not the way to go! That said, I don't like Rusty, so seeing him get tortured is a win in my eyes, no matter how ridiculous. As for Amber, why do I get the feeling someone on staff designed a female Rusty who could have been in the world where Lincoln was Linka, and then just used the design here for the hell of it?

For an episode focusing on Rusty and Morpheus of all characters, it was actually pretty good. Though it was mostly due to Morpheus. Rusty was pretty annoying and unlikable with how he wanted all of those spells for his own personal gain and how he tried to weasel out of his deal. Which made his karma all the more satisfying and humorous.😁😂 Though it was weird how Amber, the girl Rusty had a crush on, was a gender bent version of himself.😮 As for Morpheus, he was definitely the best character and it’s nice that he got his own character instead of just being one of Lucy’s friends. Richard Horvitz did an amazing job. And the ending was very funny and cathartic with Rusty getting his just desserts and Morpheus’ trolling. You reap what you sow “Rust-Man.”😂 8/10

I agree. This episode was just a eh. While i do like the fact that Morpheus was trolling Rusty, its like you said, Rusty comes out annoying and irritating. He's way into himself. But i did like the punishment he got. 6/10 episode. Great review, homie. Have a safe Sunday. ❤️😎🤙

To me, this episode is... Honestly a light bad. I did like The Morpheus screwing with Rusty, but the story wasn't that interesting. Maybe that's because the concept doesn't really go much beyond... Rusty makes a deal with Morpheus to do spells for him. I think it would've worked better had they actually led more into Rusty's insecurities in actually holding a date, despite his whole ladies man persona, and so he uses Morpheus's to make him more attractive. Not only would it have been funny to see it all backfire, but it would've actually developed Rusty's character more, while also giving him some karma for basically stealing Morpheus's spell. The episode overall isn't really THAT bad, but I think there could've been a better way of handling it. Because it seems like the only idea they had for it, was Rusty and Morpheus teaming up.

This episode was pretty mediocre, especially since it started rusty who is my least favorite Lincoln his friends group and punishment that one of Lucy‘s friends gave to Rusty throughout the entire episode was well-deserved, but also very confusing at the same time since he hype throughout the entire episode That he wanted a lot of Rusty hair but only want a single string of it so what the hell is that all about? and Rusty‘s crush that he has is literally just rusty redesign but female although I will admit it was nice that they’re pairing up minor characters that we normally don’t get to see too often with one of Lucy‘s friends so that’s good so Yep they once again using redesign characters and that’s all I really have to say about this episode

Let's Break a Deal... Mid, Filler, and overall as bland as it can get, to sum it up. Yea I dunno, this episode, as soon as I saw that Rusty and Morpheus would be the lead characters, of everyone.. yea I only wished for the best. Rusty... ohhh, Rusty... you've truly been the weakest character of the bunch, I don't even know where to begin with you, I simply don't even know. Morpheus, you're basically the polar opposite of Rusty in this one to be fair. How did that happen? I dunno, feels like a small Stone Cold Stunner, but oh well Overall: Yea, I dunno what else to say, other than.. Not gonna rewatch it anytime soon, tbh. 5/10, final score

So basically Rusty sold his soul to the devil, because that kind feels like that was what’s happening in this episode because he literally signed a contract to a character who looks like the reincarnated devil.

This was…ok. Look I don’t like Rusty a lot, I don’t hate him but (I’ve said this before) he’s my least favorite of Lincoln friends he can be VERY arrogant and hard to root for. I like Morpheus in it, it was nice to see him get some screen tv away from the rest of the morticians club and his reaction to what Rusty was doing (his dancing, calling Morpheus morpohy) along with the part where he said rusty could sign in BLOOD…..or red ink was hilarious. Now before anyone feels sorry for what rusty went through on his date I remind you that he DID try to back out of a signed deal he made, Morpheus just want him to keep to it. Now do I think he was right? No, he was going a little too far and if he DID want just one strand of hair he should’ve said something. Him saying “where’s the fun in that” comes across as a little to cruel to me, and instead I wish he said something like “you didn’t let me finish.” Still, that alone doesn’t hurt this, I felt bad for Rusty but again he should’ve kept his end of the deal or asked how much hair Morpheus needed. I guess the only other thing is that well… once again magic makes an appearance and like all time I feel it going to divided fans who like or decry it as the show “becoming unbelievable.” I’m not going to lie I understand both sides of the agreement. I think this one pull it off better than some but also think that magic works best in small doses or for a quick joke rather then something integral to the plot. Anyways I give this a 5/10 huh dind't know richard horvitz voiced Morpheus...that's a bonus point for him! 1:52 yeah my thoughts too. I’ll go over why this is for me Lincoln has had many episode showcasing both his positive and negative characters traits Clyde not to the same extent but same as Lincoln Stella the level headed girl of the group who serves as the voice of reason. Zack a funny crazy ufo kid who lets he beliefs override his senses but had a morel code a shown in Tough Guise Liam a simple humble country boy. Rusty often (at least recently) an arrogant egoistical jerk, yes he gets what come to him but he goes right back to square one. Most of his wants are summarized by wanting girls to like him and it gets really old really fast

Going into this episode, I was interested to see where it was going to go. Starting with the positives I like how this episode is focused on Rusty which I'm not sure has happened before, but I'm sure someone will let me know. Also, it is cool that Richard Horvitz voices two characters in this episode. In terms of negatives the one thing that made me wonder is why the actual heck does Morpheus want Rusty's hair? Maybe for a spell of some kind? Overall, while I do like the banter back and forth between Rusty and Morpheus. I just think Morpheus played more of a villain than your typical Mortician's Club member. I'll give it a 7/10.

This episode was such an... Unnecessarily bore... Rusty is such a selfish character to even have his own episode. I think the reason why this episode didn't work is because of the lack of Lincoln and his friends to control Rusty's... "Too cool attitude." The highlight of this episode for me was Morpheus giving Rusty his comeuppance... He's such an interesting member of the Morticians Club aside from Lucy and Boris... And in my opinion, I think he could have his own solo episode... But yeah... The spell elements is so... Overdone here and I pretty much hate it. This episode isn't offensive... But it's not good and I'd rather have Morpheus make me forget I ever saw this boring episode. And Rusty not learning a thing made it so much worse too... 4/10
