    2:48 No way that was square. Also, is it me or is this video sped up by like 10%? It looks unnaturally fast, even at Normal playback

    60 FPS, normal speed. Also it’s hard to tell because the close side player got in the way during part of the play. You might be right, looks close

    @@1stSeedVolleyball Ah must be the FPS and the way it’s cut up. And I think in general players get away with not being square on oversets too much.

    Why is yellow short coming to hit from behind the setter all the time no matter the pass? Is it just his habit or any strategy about it?

    Most of the time It’s so that player can always swing into the wind. It allows the hitter to swing much harder and can make every swing way tougher to defend. It’s also good to make the blocker have to make a bigger move and can sometimes give the hitter more court to swing at.

    We had a 4 team pool instead of 5 so we played more points. 5 team pools play games to 21

    Super scrappy game! Y'all are the ball control GOATs. Sometimes instead of backset you can run more on 2 and super fast into the bad side instead of running all the way around, especially if the blocker is already waiting for the backset. Just some extra offensive tools

    Agreed! Definitely need some more bailout plays (We also kept running a lot of 4 blocks in this tournament because of what you told us😅)
