Spot on! Fellow Novascotian here, we were there the same time and i agree on all your points, we had a great time and hey it is how you make it! we have many funny stories of our first time in Cuba and we do not regret it...Just remember to bring your TP and travel Kleenex with you or you may gets stuck with that awful brown recycled stuff or in some bathroom's around the resort you may not have any. Your review was very good and this would help anyone on there trip to Cuba and i hope you has success with your channel.

Was there for 9 days as of the 17th. 9 Days was the perfect amount of time. This was my first time. The MOST important thing I wish I knew, that would have made this trip 10 out of 10, was "bring your own things" My wife is very fussy about her morning coffee. Meaning that she needs a GOOD cup of coffee to get the day going right. Had we brought our own capsules to use with the coffee maker it would have made the trip 10 out of 10. I was warned about the food, so I was ok. Surprisingly we did not get sick. But we mostly age bread and grilled food. We tipped in US$ only and noticed that we got amazing service. The highlight of the trip was watching my wife run (i have never seen her run in my life) run into the ocean. I wish we also knew about bringing the items such as tooth brushes to gift (considering my wife is a dental assistant). One of the most disappointing thing was as advertised there would be 4 bottles of liquor in the dispenser in your room. Such is not the case. I had to nag for two days before we actually got 1 bottle of rum in the room. Last item, on the list of disapointments which quickly faded after som al cool. Was we arrived at midnight. Wifey HANGRY. So we went to the 24 hour food spot. As we looked down, we saw a roach scurring on the counter, and my wife looked at me and was like "OH HELL NAW". LoL we got over it pretty quick since we gotta eat! We had an awseome butler so we did get room servicde at 7 am when they brought us coffee to our room. Would I go back.. probably now that I know what to tbring for the next trip. Also we would probably stay at the royalton next door. Thanks for the review.

Why doesn't Sunwing offer snacks for free? Pop is free. And what about the Champaign service?

Great review. But please don't tell people to bring Loonies and Toonies. The Cuban banks don't accept them. We had so many workers asking us if we would buy their change.

Try using photos and videos and narrating over them! Terrible review.
